My Husband & I took a trip to Cabellas today & decided to stop at Coaches for lunch. Hadnt been there in a long time and the food use to be very good at a reasonable price. Today we walked out very disappointed. We both ordered the broasted chicken with real mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetable & stuffing. We no more than got sat down from our trip to the salad bar & out came our food. I think we both got one bit of our salad before the waitress with all the hickeys on her neck came with our food. I was so excited to try the broasted chicken right away I took a bit & noticed it was cold. Then I tried the real mashed potatoes & they were cold too and they were not real. so I went on to try the stuffing and that was dry, so that explained all the gravy. It was necessary to cover up the flavor of the instant potatoes and the dryness of the stuffing. Never did get a vegetable. Thank god for the salad bar. Then I noticed that my plate was hot. I said to my husband "I think this was microwaved." He said" I think your right" The hostess came over to our table as she noticed we were not eating our food and asked "is everything was ok?" I said "no, everything is cold." She motioned the our waitress with all the hickeys to come over to our table. The hostess said to the waitress "their food is cold & you need to take care of this." The waitress was very appoligetic and took our food back to the kitchen. In less than 5 minutes she came back with both plates of food using an oven mitt to hold the plates. I looked at my husband and said" Now I know our food was microwaved" He said "I think your right" (Which he never admits that to me.) He said "isnt this chicken suppose to be crispy?" I said "Yes it broasted." He said "its like rubber and its dry." I turned to him and said "dont eat it, I think its been microwaved twice & who knows how long its been in the fridge before it got put on our plates." I said "lets just get out of here." We paid our bill and left the food vowing we would never go back there again. I dont know what happened to this resturant. It seems to me that they have a lazy cook who makes things in advance then reheats it in the microwave. I am sure if this continues this resturant will be going out of business soon.

My choice when I go to Coaches is chicken liver with onions and potatoes. I never get bored of it. The dish includes the salad bar, which is always supplied with delicious soups and a consistent variety of food. I love this restaurant. Also the waitresses couldnt be more welcoming and helpful.

This little restaurant was a great find for us. The food was excellent and the portions were very generous. The café and restrooms are very clean. The wait staff was helpful, efficient, and very friendly. If McDonalds gets three stars, coaches gets seven stars.

This was not our first choice but they were open on Easter Sunday. None of us in our group had eaten there before but it was really good food. Even the pickiest eater among us enjoyed it. The service was really good as well.

Good old fashioned home cooking. Had the broiled Cod. Excellent. Great Bread Pudding. Server was spot on with everything. A great place for a comfortable meal.
