Coffee Bean Cafe is hands down one of the best smaller restaurants in the greater Baton Rouge Area. Its a perfect quick stop for morning breakfast or lunch. They serve all types of food and drinks that can please anyone that walks in door. I personally eat here at least once a week and the service and food is always great. Around 12 PM they get really busy and the parking lot gets full so try to become before or after lunch! I recommend getting any of the salads, wraps, or burgers. All three of those options are really good and can please anyone that walks in. I personally always either get the Avocado Burger or any of their main salads. They have always treated me well and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The service is terrible, but the food is great! This little restaurant needs to start acting like a restaurant with actual waitresses. They expect to get tips for no good reason. Today my co-workers and I went, and the girl at the register forgot an item that I ordered. When our food came, I told the girl that I was missing something. The register girl came over to ask if I still wanted the item, of course I did and then she tried to charge me for it. This really is aggravating! When I ordered, the register girl was not listening to me…I repeated my order twice. My food came out wrong and I was expected to pay for their error. I tipped $2 at the register, can’t you comp the $1.50 FRIES?

This establishment has on 2 seperate occasions, completely jacked up my phone orders. I even tried to give them the benefit of doubt (against my better judgement) and they let me down yet again. The first time my food was COLD, the second time, they ran out of grits but failed to inform me. After getting home I find a waffle?! Who wants a waffle when I asked for grits?! SMH. I wont waste my time or money again. Oh yeah, the food also tastes like water, not good for Louisiana blood!

I ordered a trio salad and a cafe Au lait. The coffee was good and hot :) the salad was disappointing. The lettuce was bad and brown. The only thing that I really liked was the chicken salad on the trio salad -it was really good. But my meal was definitely not worth $14+... I wont be going back :/

The food here is delicious. The atmosphere is nice, the service is quick, and the staff is courteous. Their sweet potato fries are the best in town. I love to go here for brunch or breakfast. They have a wide variety of coffee flavors, breakfast items, salads, soups, wraps, sandwiches, and baked goods.

This place has wonderful food. Order a sandwich if you go because their bread is amazing. Their Tilapia is also yummy. I wish they were open later and on Sundays, *this is not the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf like the website link takes you to* It is WAY better than that.

The food here was excellent, but the service was slow. We arrived just before the lunch rush on a Friday and it took around half an hour to get a sandwich. I have nothing but good things to say about the food itself, and the hot chocolate was absolutely divine.

Just went there for the first time through a co-worker. Great food and friendly service! Loved the Salmon plate and exchanged the veggies for a very crispy and fresh side salad. I highly recommend the Gingerbread latte as well. ^_^

Atmosphere is nice. Prices good. Brkfast was blah. Bacon cold but crisp as requested. Eggs greasy and with aftertaste of a cooking spray perhaps, or bad oil? Coffee strong and bitter. Wont visit again.

stopped in for 2 iced coffees, and the milk tasted completely spoiled. tasted AWFUL. threw both out the minute i made it to work. waste of $10. overpriced to begin with for two small iced coffees.

Hot chocolate tasted like chocolate-flavored water. French toast was dry and unflavorful. Bacon had a weird after taste. Stick to the muffins. They are great!
