“Correct pour un déjeuner détape” Venant dOak Alley Plantation et cherchant un endroit pour déjeuner nous sommes arrivés un peu par hasard dans ce restaurant situé en bord de route. Accueil correct sans plus, installation rapide au fond du restaurant sous une véranda lumineuse. Menu sympa proposant de nombreux plats du bayou, service « timide » mais vite oublié par la qualité des assiettes servies. Bonne cuisine sans être non plus extraordinaire mais bien suffisant pour une pause déjeuner entre 2 visites. A recommander si vous êtes dans les environs.

Food was excellent. They only had two servers on a Saturday night but the owner apologized for the wait. The food was well worth the wait. Prices a little high but normal for a seafood place. I would say the average price was about 15-20 dollars per plate. I wish their website had the prices so we could have seen those before dining with them.

Ate lunch there today. Food was outstanding. Probably the best duck breast and grilled vegetables Ive ever had. Happened to be passing through for work and stopped based on a recommendation from a friend. Looks like Im going to have to get used to making the drive to Donaldsonville for dinner, because this place is worth it.

ALL dishes are excellent, from gumbo through salad to fish. Red snapper with citrus sauce couldnt be equalled anywhere. Bread pudding is outstanding and unique. Service is friendly and knowledgable. We will visit everytime we are anywhere near. This is an outstanding restaurant and it deserves recognition.

One thing about Louisiana- Almost everywhere is a mixture of things. So many descriptions could be put together for this place. Excellent food. Great Atmosphere. Southern. Cajun. Elegant. Country. Down home. Excellent service. Subdued. This is an out of the way place but worth the side trip.

The food was awesome, the folks we even better! I had the special: Natural Catfish w/Crawfish Stew... It was delicious. Definitely one of the best meals Ive had in Louisiana. Even the salad was good!

Couldnt say anything less than outstanding. Excellent food. Friendly waitstaff and a view to die for. Its totally worth every penny so if you are in the area or anywhere remotely close please stop by

My husband and I came in for dinner back in October 2016 and my taste buds go crazy every time I think about it. Our meal was fabulous. I am back in town now and I just cant wait to get back!

Waitress was unpleasant. Food was terrible. No sweet tea. Boudin balls were hard. Only redeeming part was the bread was excellent. I dont know if Id visit again
