Just heard it was back and soon to be there again. Hoping that all future experiences will be as great as before. The food was awesome. My only complaint would have been the understaffing of the place but the food made up for that. I loved the breakfast and then the lunches were great too! The seafood stuff potatoes were awesome. I will try to post again after my visit to the new place. So excited for a day off to head that way. =)

Wonderful, down home eatery. Polite service and rich food make Carli-Co Cafe a staple of the Gonzales restaurant scene. Most locals have a favorite dish or two and everyone knows they are open early. Great for groups, which is how I usually eat there, and for business (i.e. they have free Wi-Fi and high bar stool seats for the laptop crew). Carli-Co is a special place worthy of all five of those stars.

Ordered three eggs over easy, toast and coffee. After more than an hour of waiting, I paid for the coffee and left hungry, my order never arrived to my table. I will definitely never ever go back.
