The food here is excellent -- and its all freshly prepared when you order. The con of that fact is that you just have to wait for good things. This is literally a mom-and-pop operation. The family has three children who are often in the restaurant. If freshly prepared, great tasting, authentic Chinese food isnt your thing, dont eat here. If youd prefer something more "commercial," eat at one of the fast-food style Chinese places cranking out tons of similarly-flavored muck. If you do try them, we highly recommend the kung-pao shrimp, orange beef or chicken, combination fried rice, egg rolls, and sesame chicken!

This is our go-to Chinese restaurant to order from. The food is always prepared fresh and hot when we pick it up. They are very professional and courteous to the customers. It is a husband and wife team that run the whole place, and their three children are often there in the evenings doing their homework or music lessons. They also help take orders, run the cash register, and more. I appreciate how hard these parents work to provide for their children, and the work ethic their children are learning from them. Good food, wonderful owners, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them.

When I went during lunch, the gentleman at the register charged me and other customers for the full dinner combo, even though it was lunch time. I ordered Sesame Chicken and found the sauce to be too sugary and thick. Whats more, the fried rice didnt have ANY vegetables on it! The lunch plate also had NO vegetables either. This is the first time Ive eaten here, and it will be the last & only time too.

Best Chinese food in Baton Rouge!!!! Friendly, clean restaurant, good prices for the amount of food you get. I will continue to give them my business. I always eat the combination fried rice and have tried the teriyaki chicken; love them both. Plan to try the fried dumplings next time.

Ive been going here fur 1 1/2 years, ever since we moved close by. I havent had any bad experiences. The food is always hot and fresh. Our family favorites are the beef/chicken teriyaki, fried rice, shrimp mei fun, crab rangoons and egg fu young.
