Quaint cafe on historic Main Street, Middletown, KY. The food is excellent, especially the decadent homemade desserts. The business has limited hours, being open from only 11 AM - 3 PM. The cafe is located in an old home, which could be quite charming but it is in dire need of maintenance, both inside and outside. The dining area is small and could use a deep cleaning.

Although my friends and I refer to this as the "Chick Lunch Place", men will also enjoy the great sandwiches, soups, and salads served at Cottage Cafe. On Thursdays, they have a special on Hot Browns (a Louisville speciality), and every day, the owner bakes delicious one-of-a-kind cakes that better than any dessert Ive ever had elsewhere.

I have been a customer at this restaurant for many years. I have used their catering services on lots of occasions for both personal and business functions. My husband and I go there for lunch frequently and we have NEVER been disappointed. Everything on the menu is simply delicious.

We went last week for lunch. The tomato soup was very tasty. I had the chicken salad sandwich and it was very good. The coconut cream pie was wonderful. Staff very friendly.
