At 12:20 pm 1/21/17, First i orded a country fried steak but she said they were out of gravey.. no problem. So I Ordered a 21 piece shrimp and a salad. They served me a salad in a bowl that was nothing but lettuce with a teaspoon of cheese and tomatoes on top. Than serve me a 6 piece butterfly shrimp. Waitress said they were out of my 21 piece shrimp I wanted so they made me 6 piece butterfly shrimp instead. Charged same price. I guess it was two difficult to come tell me they were out of what I wanted and would there be anything else I would prefer. They just decided on there own to serve me something else. Wow. And they didnt even apologize. Me and my fiance laughed a little, he order a omelette (which was good, he said) but he said thats like him ordering a omelette and they go back see they are out of eggs and just decide to bring him back grits instead. Communication was lacking, very rude and terrible service today.

I love the Corner.. but, be prepared to wait. Its old school food, and nothing is preprepared in advance. Runs about $10 a person (we had breakfast). Its a local hangout...full of sassy waitresses and people whove known each other for decades. Try the Western Omelet if youre taste includes bacon, sausage and ham. Its extraordinary!

Great smile and service from our waitress. I enjoyed the breaded tenderloin while my wife had a tasty BLT. The license plates on the wall are a great feature. A coat of paint on the ceilingetc.... and a purging of the smoke smell in the foyer would improve the experience.

Has changed in the past few months. Used to have the best biscuits and gravy. Now the biscuits are like a hockey pucks. Got my order to go, and the put it all in the same box. Needless to say scramble eggs mixed with gravy was not what my husband was looking forward to.

Extremely rude staff in the Morning. Kept telling my husband and I we couldnt get curtain things and told me they didnt sell things that were clearly on the menu definitely wont be back.

Waited 15 minutes for a waitress to serve us when she clearly saw that we were there . She then proceeded to take the order of a guy who just walked in.

I dont eat there much.. but most of the times I eat there, the food is good. Atmosphere kind of destroys your appetite because of all the smokers !
