Loved every minute of this unique cafe. Ill be the first to admit, it looks a little different from the outside. Just a small wooden shack-like structure, however the food was delicious!!! After a long hike in mammoth caves, this was the perfect end to the the day. We order 3 dinners and 2 desserts. Best BBQ sauce! Met the owners and some pretty pics on the back patio. Cant wait to try our own blue holler hillbillies tacos at home! Thanks for a great memory Harry!

Well worth the pleasant drive from Bowling Green. Food was great, service from the owners/hosts was excellent as was the conversation. This place is spotless! 100% ratings from the health dept. (Its located about 5.5 miles east of Nolan Dam.) Harry & Claudia close the cafe from October to February. Well be back in March for the best German fare in the mid-south.

Best food ever! Just like Oma used to make! Es ist sehr lecker, Ive had the jagerschnitzel and curry bratwurst Id suggest both. They also have burgers and such so something for everybody. This is just good comfort food. If you like southern/german cooking Id suggest this place above all others. Es war köstlich!

Ive been to the Blue Hollar several times and must say that it is a most excellent little place to eat at. As far as German-American food goes...I love it. I will most gladly go again. As far as bang for the buck goes this place is great, with a rather unique atmosphere.

We drove cross country and stumbled on this restaurant. Very clean, neat, and great atmosphere. Owners are super nice, they also cook all the food. Waitress was very nice and helpful. Food was delicious! If we are ever around we will go back.

Was unsure about this place, but the kind owner opened the door for my friends and I. We all chatted while he made our food. The whole place was very homey. There was lots of authentic German food options. The menu was unexpectedly amazing!

This place was a treat to stumble onto. I actually drove by, but the way they had put so much work into the outside made me turn around. I had a nice chat with the owner and a very good meal.
