Wonderful and amazing restaurant!!!!! My husband and I spent a week in Brown county Indiana in November. We rented a cabin on Bean Blossom Road and stumbled upon this little gem!!! It is off the beaten path but that is what makes it an even more wonderful experience!!! You must try this little Cafe!!! The food is amazing and the service is beyond words!! We actually ate dinner there at least 5 nights and even stopped and got take out for lunch a couple times. My husband being a steak guy, obviously got steak every night and it was amazing. Cooked perfect everytime! I being the more adventurous type had to try it all and was not disappointed!!! Everything on the menu is unique and delicious!!! We frequented the place so much in a short time that the staff made us feel like we were home, we met the chefs and the other staff and they are so outgoing and friendly!!! We will definitely be going back someday!! Even though it is a six hour drive it will be worth it. I also want to add our waitress Tammy Rose was lovely and very friendly! She hugged me on our last visit and I almost teared up because I was truly going to miss her!! If you dont go for the food or ambiance then go just to meet Tammy Rose she will welcome you like you are family!!!!

This place is off the beaten path, but it is well worth the time it takes to find it. The dining room seats about 40 so making a reservation is a real good idea specially in prime time. The food is outstanding, and you will not find a better value anywhere. The Farmhouse Steak is a huge, tender, delicious Ribeye that I would put up against any steakhouse anywhere. The Brown County Grilled Pork Chop is also another masterpiece. Went there with 3 other couples and everyone enjoyed it so much while we were there we made reservations for latter in the week. This should be a must on anybodies itinerary for the Brown County Ind. area.

Took an hour to get sandwiches that were not worth the price of wait. No one checked on us or refilled drinks once until we were ready to go. Food was very average. We would make much better sandwiches at home. There were dozens of bees in and on our food and drinks. Im all about our pollinators but Ive never been out to eat anywhere like that. We really wanted to shop for plants there but left because it took so long to get food and then our check.

The setting was totally whimsical, the service was personal and charming. The food was 5 star, from the fried green tomatoes with a unique dipping sauce to the chocolate peanut butter cheese cake. Every dish was gourmet at its best. And did I mention how clean everything was??!! Already planning our next trip to indiana and how to incorporate THE FARMHOUSE into it. THANKS FOR A GREAT MEMORY

What a cool place! I will definitely be coming back.. The prime rib was great and cooked to perfection. I then finished off my meal with a killer chocolate peanut butter cheesecake. The staff was super friendly. It was like having a perfect home cooked meal at grandmas house.

After an hour and 15 minutes of waiting for our order of 2 BLTs, we left, never to return. Avoid this place if you have a life. Brownies is nearby and serves good home style food in a timely manner; thats where we went after leaving this disappointment.

Cute, cozy atmosphere, ok food Wheres the beef?! I had the turkey sandwich and added bacon. If there was 3 oz of turkey Id eat my hat. Presentation was good, service was slow. The appeal is atmosphere. Definitely not worth the price on merits of food.

Off the beaten path and one of my favorite places for lunch. Absolutely love their outdoor patio. They have a really good homemade lemonade and one of my favorite BLT sandwiches around. The complimentary chips and dip are great as well.

Good food for lunch or dinner and a charming setting with antique-filled barn, greenhouses, pond, and flower-lined walkways. And they serve a variety of good beers. A beautiful 45 minute drive from Bloomington.

Excellent place! Great, friendly service; good food; eclectic farmhouse decor; fire in the fireplace. A little bit of a hike, but a nice respite from the crowds in Nashville.
