We had bulgogi beef, grilled shrimp and grilled calamari hibachi dinners. All were very good. Well prepared and well presented .Ample sized servings. We also had three desserts: micho ice cream. tempura ice cream and fried cheesecake. The mochi ice cream was the most unusual. Also all very good. Washed it down with some Kirin. Prices were moderate. Service was a bit spotty. They brought our salads and soup before bringing the steamed edamame appetizer, so we canceled the edamame. The owner was our waiter.He was very friendly and told us that they had taken over the restaurant less than a year ago. We will return and wish them success. Note: opening time on Sunday is 4:00 PM.

The food is good (although menu is smaller/less authentic than it used to be), but they didnt bring me mine until after my husband finished eating his meal. Apparently they forgot about my order. I barely saw my waiter, so I had to ask the sushi person to find out if my food was coming. When it finally did come, I asked to just take it to go. I didnt really feel like making my husband watch me eat by that point. They didnt charge me for the food. Still, plenty of other places to get Japanese food around town. I will not be back.

Tragic......6 times we ordered a roll, 6 times we didnt get it..... 6 times an excuse as to why we didnt receive it..... To top it off I received a bill for an amount that included the roll she said she was going to take off. Then after it was removed received a bill for the same dollar amount with the roll removed..... When asked to bring out the other bill to compare it. The "manager" refused and asked me how much can I afford to pay.... I will chalk it up as poor english..... Rather than rude... Or disrespectful.

Everything was visually appealing and tasty! We did ask if the crab was real and the chef stated it is imitation so we opted for the Chefs Choice shashimi platter and my wife (vegan) ordered the veggie roll with Japanese pickles, asparagus roll, and avocado roll. I can say this is one of the few sushi joints in town that makes the rice properly (good quality, actually able to taste texture), and everything looked and tasted very fresh. We will definitely be going back soon!

Beware! Better call ahead to see if they are even open, dont believe their posted hours! We arrived here for lunch on my birthday at 2 PM Saturday 12/12, and the restaurant is closed despite posted hours on their own website noting that they are open at noon. So very sad, we used to enjoy this restaurant. This is a bad way to run a business.

Great sushi and great family running the place! The food is always fantastic and they are eager to please even the pickiest of clients (my wife). I highly recommend the sautéed edema me and the "heaven" roll. They also have a great bat selection with at least 6 different bourbon. This is the we have found in Louisville!

Our first experience was last week… we found this restaurant to be CLEAN and delightful. This family owned business is very friendly and the seafood is FRESH..!! Unlike some of the other popular sushi places in town this place has not forgotten its core values of quality. The food is great… Ill be coming back!

The husband and wife owners of this wonderful japanese restaurant make sure that all items on the menu are of superior quality. The atmosphere is warm and always welcoming. This restaurant has a huge loyal following of regulars (of which I am one). Absolutely the BEST sushi in all of Louisville.

This is my favorite sushi place in louisville. I have never had anything there that I didnt like. Their tempura is HUGE. Tokyo is not cheap but you can get full meals and sushi at reasonable prices for the type of food it is. The people there are always very friendly.

What a great place to eat. The service was great and very attentive. I never went without. All of the staff was nice and there to serve my needs. The sushi was not top notch, but for the price it was very good. I will be visiting this place again for sure.

Sushi is great, service is great. Only reason theyre getting 4 stars is they advertise Sunday Hours opening at Noon, but 3 times now theyve not been open. If youre going to advertise your business as being open, be open or fix your advertised hours.

The Poke here is fantastic & the service is always excellent. I highly recommend a visit if youre a sushi fan. Its a locally owned family business. Owners are on site & take pride to make your visit great. Will be back sooner rather than later.

Awful! Visiting from Ohio. Read great reviews, so we decided to try it out. Food was cold and dry. No one asked how things were or if we needed anything through our entire meal. If I lived in KY, I would never return again.
