We visited this location on 06/30/2014. We took seats at the bar and asked the bartender, who was wearing a nametag labeled The Josh, about the happy hour specials. I ordered three beers and my guest ordered two. The bill showed TEN beers. The first bill we received for 5 beers and two calazones was $46.32, and showed no happy hour discounts. When we brought this to the bartenders attention he told us that "The specials never ring up correctly. I always have to get a manager to approve them". Seven corrected bills later, adjusted by the night manager John, we finally arrived at the correct happy hour pricing. Each time we brought the discrepencies to the attention of the manager, treated to sneers, and adolescent giggling by these two fine gentlemen. I perform restaurant evaluations for money. I have more than ten years experience in this field. The only times I have ever seen this type of creative billing, is when dishonesty is involved. I would not trust the bartenders at this location.

Buffet bar changed, very minimal selections. Several times I attempted to go to buffer during my visit, there was no pizza. Our waiter smelled of alcohol. Took 10 mins to get our drinks, but during this time I saw him behind buffet stuffing his face.. perhaps thats why there was nothing on the buffet left for customers. Aside from smelling of alcohol, he was profusely sweating and kept using the chair I was sitting in to steady himself. One person in the party did not get buffet, and he neglected to even take order. Since it was delayed and service so slow, the rest of party had finished eating before food even served. Drinks were not refilled any time while we were eating. TLDR; terrible and slow service buffet not kept stocked with food during lunch time. Will not be returning. Ever.

We are new to the area and have never been to an Old Chicago before. We got delicious craft beers (at reasonable prices), an app and a pizza. The waiter was great! He gave us beer samples of other beers without us asking. (bonus points, haha) The pizza we ordered got messed in the kitchen (they forgot a topping), but our waiter brought it to us anyways while we waited for the correct pizza, which we were fine with. After we got a regular pizza our waiter let us take home the other pizza for free! We were super happy about this. Overall, we had an awesome first experience at Old Chicago. The service was great, the pizza and app was super good, and the beer was delicious! We will be back!

We went in 30 minutes before closing we went in and there wasnt alot of people in the restaurant. The only 2 employees we saw werea server and the bartender. The server was cleaning around turned around and saw us walked towards us and stoped at a table i tought ok well he will come and see if we need to be seated or if we need anything or at least to tells us that they were not seating any more people. But nope.. He sat at the booth still looking at us and didnt bother to ask if we needed help he kept talking to his friends on the table.. And that is just very rude.. We usually love this place but some people are just rude enought to make you not wanna vome back.

Food is amazing! The customer service not so much. Im always up for a second chance if the service is great and the food isnt, but when the service is this bad its hard to even think about going back. The first time I thought it was because they were busy the second time there was only 5 tables in the whole place. Every once in a while because the food is great Ill get it to go however even with to go the service is terrible. Not sure whats happened to both Louisville locations they were great at one time...

Food took forever to get out and when we did get it, wings were cold. Beer cheese was cold. Bathrooms are full of mold. Food got comped because it took so long and was cold... this also happened at the Old Chicago in Jeffersonville. Bartender bought food and shots because food took forever and he forgot to put an order in. However, servers were great. But mgmt needs to talk to cooks

The food was amazing! The waiter was extremely helpful and told us what was pretty popular and what to stay away from. The only thing I ever got there that I wasnt very pleased with was the Pizza Nachos and that was just because I felt like they didnt put a whole lot of cheese on there for them to call it a pizza or Nachos. They have a nice beer selection as well!

Decent, although Im giving this location 4 stars because I much prefer the location off of Taylorsville Rd. much more. I used to live much closer to the Taylorsville location and was there about once a week. Now, Im about the same distance from this, and Ill only make it ever other month or so. Not sure what it is, but its just not quite as good.

Old Chicago is a great place to take the kids but dont expect great food. The food is not bad but its not anything to write home about. They clearly use vinegary mid-western tomatoes for their pizza sauce and inexpensive toppings. Still, you get what you pay for. It is inexpensive and an easy place to take a family for an afternoon lunch.

I work at Ky Nails which very close to it, me n my friend came over for dinner on Friday, the restaurant very clean, workers are friendly and professional services. My waiter told me about the Chicken Green Chile I try it which amazing. I will be back soon to try something different. Again thank you for the services .

Its a chain, no doubt about it, but the food is good, there is plenty of variety, they have a great beer list, and the service is great. Not necessarily a "hometown original favorite", but good for an easy family dinner. Never had a bad experience.

Terrible service not only by the server but the bartender and shift manager. Didnt have half the beers for our flight had to come back 4 seperate times to finally get our flight which easily took 30+ minutes. On a very slow time. Will never go back!!!

An Old Chicago is usually like any other Old Chicago, but this one does stand out on its good service. If you are visiting in Louisville and wanting a chain restaurant meal, avoid the awful Old Chicago at Hurstbourne and visit this one instead.

Good beer list, good pizza, good happy hour. The atmosphere is what your expect from a suburban shopping center chain restaurant but the menu is a step above that. You can make a greasy mess of yourself but sometimes thats exactly what you want.

Ive had decent service in the past here at this location, but my last visit was terrible. Server took almost 45 min to get us the check, while trying to get her attention multiple times. Food was great as usual but the service was terrible.

Got in and out quickly for lunch because we did the buffet. Im not a buffet eater so its really not ideal for me since this is what they push you towards for lunch ordering. I have my favorites on the menu and will go back for dinner.
