I had a good experience here. I was greeted right away with chips and salsa. A minute after, the server came over to take my drink order. I ordered a regular sized Vallarta Margarita, and Steak and Chicken Fajitas. The menu was very large -anyone can find something they like! The Margarita was what you would expect for a standard flavor. The fajitas were sizzlin and came out with several sides. It all tasted good and I left full. If I could recommend one thing, I would recommend them to change the environment. Paint the walls a brighter and more saturated color to be more festive. Also, change the lighting..the ceiling tiles and light dont look too appealing. Oh, one more thing, an outdoor patio would be awesome! It would attract more people! None of the nearby restaurants have outdoor patios either - bummer!!

This place is a great spot to get a meal that will be both decently made and timely. The proficiency to "keep it moving" in this store is on display most times of the day. I am speaking solely of the Wheeling location. My eating lifestyle is vegetarian and I am always looking for easier meals that are still tasty, regardless of nutritional value. I save all that for breakfast and lunch. When I want dinner I usually want tasty. Puerta Vallarta is a great place for vegetarians looking to get a hefty and delicious Mexican cuisine that weve come to love over the last few decades in the Midwest. Ive added an egg to my rice for some time now and this is one of the few restaurants in the area that accommodate that choice. I will come back for their food and drinks.

I grew up in Muncie but havent lived there for years. However, whenever we come back home to visit parents and friends we always eat here. My wife and I love mexican food and eat it anywhere we go and I can honestly say this is our favorite of any city we have been in. The service is good not great and the ambience might be able to stand a little improvement but if it is Mexican food you like, this is the place to eat. You wont be sorry. Im getting hungry just writing about it...

Normally this is very good. Today, however, the service was poor, and the food wasnt great. The salsa was watered down, and the guacamole tasted like it had sugar in it. We waited 10-15 minutes after eating for our check. Its a good thing I have been here before, or I probably would not come back.

Being from California and moving to Indiana for school...was afraid I wouldnt get good Mexican food for awhile. But was I wrong! This place is delicious. I would recommended the tomatillo sauce and the queso sauce. Both make a burrito so dang delicious!!!

Fantastic food and service! Ive always visited the Tillotson location just from the proximity to campus, but now that I live nearer to the Wheeling location, I have a great new spot to grab a drink special or a quick plate of delicious carnitas!

Out of mexican restaurants that I have eaten at, Puerto Vallarta is one of the BEST!!!!!!!!!! Anyone who has not tried Puerto Vallarta needs to go and try their EXCELLENT food. You will like mexican food after you eat here.
