Very disappointed. We took my inlaws out to dinner to have a nice meal together and I cant even explain how disappointed and even embarrassed I am. We waited 30mins to be seated. We all got our salads and rice at the same time. We ate them and the server brought out 2 rolls claiming that one was theirs and one was ours. My husband bit into one and warned me to not because it contained fish (Im vegetarian and ordered 3 veggie rolls) as I picked at another slice. So the server came over and I told him that although there was avocado on the roll it was not vegetarian. He ran off and came back and said he gave us my in-laws second roll. Embarrassed that we had dug into their food. I nicely asked him to bring them a fresh one. So 30 mins go by the in-laws have already finished their food completely including the roll we picked off of. We were STILL WAITING on our rolls. More time goes by and finally I get the servers attention and asked him to cancel our remaining rolls because they were finished eating and we came here to eat together. He ran off again no apology or anything and comes back later saying that once its order they cant cancel it. I told him that we really wanted to eat together; thats why we came out in the first place and they were finished with their entire meal. He said he couldnt do anything for us but our sushi was ready and he will bring it to us right away. My husband said that its okay put it in boxes and grab our check. Not kidding you another 15 mins go by and I literally watched as they made and put our sushi in a box on the bar. Completely ridiculous. I talked to the manager and explained what happened. And she said she would "take care of it" 15 mins later the server comes with our bill and our boxed sushi from the counter. And she had taken $10 off. That didnt even cover for the extra roll we had to order because of the servers mistake in the first place. He did not apologise at all. Rang out our bill no apology and no thank you. Complete silence. Now I get to have cold tempura sushi tonight in my home instead of together with family in what I thought would be a nice restaurant.

On 8 jul, My wife and I reseached this restaurant and found the ratings to be enticing. We arrived at approx 5pm and were promptly seated by an asian lady whom seamed to be angry with the world. She didnt smile nor was she pleasant. Our waitress was awesome friendly and courteous. I walked around the buffet to see what was on the menu. It was ordinary at best. I checked out the sushi bar (thats what i was craving). I got a plate off the buffet and the food was not fresh and the taste was less than what i expected after eating at much better Chinese and Japanese restaruants. Upon getting sushi i asked the chef (not much of one either) which rolls had shellfish in them. His attitude was horrible. He yelled at me and didnt give me much to go on as to what rolls had it and didnt have it. I am allegic to shell fish (Shrimp, crab & lobster) So its my right to ask what was in the rolls and which ones didnt have the shell fish. I have ate lots of sushi rolls with out the shellfish i.e. unagi, tuna, salmon, spicy tuna, octopus. So i know what i can have and what i cannot. Again its my responsibility to find out whats in the rolls for my on life. As they didnt have the rolls labeled. He rudely pointed out a little blurb taped to the top of the counter that could be missed by anyone. He stated that that was his reasoning for not labeling what he made. This individual was rude and unbecoming a sushi chef. I would rate his sushi (from what i tasted) below second rate. I understand why some of the locals think that this is the best sushi and buffet they had but sadly they havent had the experience of partaking in other sushi restaurants. I will not nor would i recommend this overly rated sushi/buffet to anyone. As a matter of fact I hope this lil review finds it to be helpful. If the sushi chef sees this I hope he would return to school and learn how to make a much better product with a better attitude as its the public that he gets paid from.

Being from the east coast and having eaten sushi all my life, I was highly doubtful of this place. My friends wanted to try it and we sat at the sushi bar. We were immediately greeted despite how busy they were and served a cucumber salad. Not bad. I asked the waiter what was good here and told him I was from Cali. He said everything but especially the yellow fin and mentioned some others. So I tried the sashimi yellow fin, shrimp, squid, a roll, and clam. The itamae moved quick and asked us if he could make us something special on the yellow fin. I told him to go ahead and I was blown away at the presentation. The fish tasted so clean and had a nutty richness from the natural fats of the fish. The squid and clam was NOT slimy and was ever so slightly sweet, which means its fresh, otherwise it would have an ocean water smell and taste. I couldnt wait to review this place! They also have a teppanyaki side which looked packed, but we didnt try it. Environment was clean and modern and bustling with conversations. This is not a quiet place but it had a friendly energetic vibe. The staff was fast paced. The best thing to do when theyre busy is to wave someone down - its not rude. We had a good time and was amazed at the food. The staff was nice and helpful if you had a question. I dont know about the other reviewer about the buffet and racist Asian lady comment when he failed to identify the ethnicity of everyone else in his review. I didnt see a buffet. Maybe they were reviewing a different place or its a fake review.

I have never in my life had a manager be so rude. I had always had good experiences here. That being said I had friends in town from Connecticut and Virginia and wanted to show them so awesome sushi! We put our order in.. 50 min later after 3 tables around us had been turned over twice! 2 of our orders came out while 2 of us were still waiting on food. I had my sushi for 15 min and my friend still didnt have his habachi. We didnt eat our food in front ofbus because it would be rude. We asked to talk to the manager at this point. She didnt have time to come talk to us but she sent our waiter out to tell us the habachi grill was going to be taken off. Ok? Are you too good or busy to come talk to a table... that is your job. We ask to speak to her again, she finally comes out and we at this point want some acknowledgement. She said that the sushi bar was backed up she cant speak for the tables that got their food before us and said the sushi chefs just do it in order... ok so our sever didnt put in our order? At which she said well I am taking off the habachi is the rest going to be split up on 2 checks? I point to our uneaten sushi rolls in to-go boxes and said no thank you we dont want these anymore and walked out.
