The all you can eat sushi deal is amazing. For the price of two rolls, you get anything you want and as much as you like, but do try and be frugal. I saw a lot of folks, us included, that ordered too much too soon. Can always get more, but if you get too much, thats a waste of food. The special rolls are great, but very big and sometimes a bit too saucy. Theyre supposed to be, I know, but we missed out on the lovely sashimi and nigiri because we indulged on the big boys. Next time, we celebrate the fish. The yellowtail was excellent, the white tuna like butter. Red snapper has a lovely tang like mackerel but less pronounced. Nice cuts of fish, great size, would have loved to have more. Prices are right if youre going al a carte but again, if you love sushi, relax and do the AYCE. Not to pig out, but to have the opportunity to get a great variety of a meal of your choosing. That should bring in the business. Staff very friendly, the hibachi chef show is there to see, decent beer selection, nice sakes to choose from, this place is going to be on fire. Id like to add that the hibachi stir fry is AMAZING. Adding a star, this place is perfection.

As many others have mentioned, the best thing about this place is the all you can eat sushi. I dont really easy sushi and its still the best deal at $21. There are many other items that come on the all you can eat sushi menu, so youre not limited to just sushi. I also enjoy eating from the Hibachi grill as well. I like there Hibachi dinner better than Hana Yori but about the same as Soho. Unlike many others Ive been to, this Hibachi dinner vibes with fried rice and noodles. Its a very generous portion. My only real concern with this place is that it is usually understaffed and you might have a slightly longer wait time to be served. Word of advice, you can only use the Groupon on the Hibachi dinner items, nothing else.

Had a terrific experience the first time we went. Server was great, sushi was delicious, and the server pointed out what sushi was what. Went back a week later and the service was horrendous. We had a different server and it seemed like anything we asked was an annoyance to her. When she brought our sushi, we asked if we could know what was what since they mixed all the sushi up on several plates and she stated that it was impossible to tell us and that we should know what we ordered. Im willing to give it one more shot since the first time was great, but if we get another experience like our most recent then I will have to say no more.

Amazing idea with AYCE sushi. Its not just sushi though!! For $21 a person you can choose from 10 starters including rice and noodles, 2 soups, and 4 salad options. Then sushi! you can get a 10 pc sashimi appetizer (only one per person), 11 nigri options, 26 "basic" rolls, and 15 specialty rolls. Sushi was good, server was right on top of things and we had a great time. I will definitely be back!!! Pace yourself, as they will charge you for uneaten food (which is reasonable imo). You can always order more.

Service is the worst for new years eve. Sat at bar for 20 min. We were the only ones. I had to track someone down to get us a drink. Then Our party of 15 arrived. They sat us and then we did not even have a server for another 15 min. We had to tell them that if we do not have some one serving us right now we are leaving. They are scrambling. Very unorganized and understaffed for a holiday. Not coming back

This is a brand new Sushi and Hibachi Grill restaurant on the south side of South Bend. We have been in need of a restaurant like this for years in our area of the city. My family and I ate here after they had only been open for a week and it was fantastic. Delicious and fresh food. Friendly staff. Sushi Bar and Hibachi Grill Great for families and large groups. They do carry out as well.

Whats not to love?! Ive been enjoying this establishment as a regular since their grand opening. The food is amazing, I wouldnt change a thing! The atmosphere is great and the staff is excellent, hard working, dedicated and extremely kind. I hope they get back to delivery, thats the only con I can think of. By far, my favorite place to eat (my kids too)!

First time dining with my family! Manager didnt like that we debated her over a Groupon discrepancy and they deliberately stiffed me on the food! Blatant smaller portions than the other people sitting at the table and I took video proof to support it.

Confusing menu, so simple yet too simple to where you dont know what exactly youre ordering or have to ask a lot of questions. Incredibly slow service. Sad faced staff. Small portions for the price. Maybe it was a bad night.

Went there for the first time today. The hostess was so rude, she barely took time to look up. When I asked her about lunch specials she was very short with her responses. Not friendly or helpful at all. Did not stay!!!

I like everything from the service to the food. Sushi is fresh and they have a wide variety. The hibachi is absolutely delicious. No more driving out to Grape Road when the better food is around the corner.

What a terrific find! We had the Hibachi meal. It was scrumptious. Definitely get the egg sauce, it added lots of creamy goodness. Enough leftover for lunch the next day, too.
