I have been eating from here since well before the new owner took over. My family has remained a customer because of the new owners friendly customer service and that hes gone above and beyond many of times for us. Such as calling to see if we were safe after we failed to show within the10-15 min carry order time...i have seen the post about the water charge and while the owner may be to polite to respond I must say cups arent free...and water bills cost...Im sorry you did not care for the food but as I was reading the post the poster, it felt to me more like a competitor then an actual customer and so for that I say to anyone else reading.... please dont let the nasty of one review keep you from supporting a local family who truely does care about the community and the customers that buy from them... They are great people... They have even delivered two separate places for me as my kiddies were staying with their grandparents and me and my husband were staying home and choose to order in... The food is great and always made just the way you want it...We always order ours a special way and always comes to us as ordered..... we will be customers for as long as they are around..... because when u ask my kids what do u want for ur special meal....without fail its chicken and rice..... :).... and they have the best around!!!

I am so pleased Dixie Highway has a restaurant like Osaka! When I go in, I am always greeted like family and that is important to me. The food is amazing, and whats even better? They will customize your order! I could never eat the General Tsos chicken from other places because it was too spicy. Shirley and Anthony were more than happy to accommodate my request whether its no spice, to extra carrots in my Sesame Chicken. The crab rangoon is THE best Ive ever had and when I go, I have to get 3 egg rolls - one for the ride home because it smells so good and 2 to eat while my teenagers tear the bag open for their lo mein! I also appreciate how they treat relatives of mine who are disabled and often cant get out. They deliver the food and its still hot and fresh when it arrives. They take the time to ask about them and it completely embodies what a local business should be. Osaka is the only place I order, its our exclusive go-to place.

I cant believe all of the good reviews about this place. The owner (who is not Asian, by the way) was very blunt and unfriendly to me and my mother. Very unfriendly guy, and cold as ice. On another note, he would not give me and my mother a free cup of water (wanted to charge 50 cents for a cut of iced tap water, and to 2 paying customers). The guy was a 1st class jerk. On top of all that, the food was the worst tasting Asian dish that I have ever had, and please do not think I am saying this because the owner was not friendly in the least (and cold as ice). Had the Hibachi Chicken, and it made me sick. It was filled with the nastiest tasting friend rice I have had, and very little vegetables (basically just filled with cabbage, and not much else). Maybe 2 or 3 pieces of broccoli. Anyways, the food was horrible in my opinion, and I would never go back anyways after the way the owner treated me and my mother.

Best service, best Asian Cuisine I have EVER had, cooked to order, I hate onions, I like a little extra spice on my General Tsos once in awhile, they are always happy to oblige. I too cannot accept nor understand the bad review. I cannot imagine Anthony EVER being cold to a customer. I did not know him before I ate there. Now I consider him and his wife my friends!! I have never met a more friendly couple. I will eat there as often as I can, my food is always fresh. This is the epitome of an awesome family run business. The only thing I can say about the bad review is it had to be a competitor. Please dont buy that one. This place has a cult following!!!! All hail Osaka!!! I only wish I could give more stars!!!!! Keep it up guys, you have a winning combo going on!!!!

BY FAR the best Asian cuisine that I have ever had the privilege to try.. The owners are fantastic, and super friendly.. Almost everyone who tries this place, gives it top notch reviews, and believes its the best Asian cuisine that theyve ever had.. I have become a regular customer and crave their Hibachi, Thai, Chinese, and Vietnamese dishes constantly.. Absolutely one of the greatest kept secrets in the southend of Louisville ! Do yourself a huge favor, and try it for yourself.. You WILL become a regular, instantly !

For a small "hole-in-the-wall" place, it is some of the best Asian food at least in the South and Southwestern parts of Louisville. Their Bd. of Health Rating is always high. I have become partial to their Hibachi style of cooking, my wife thinks their Egg Drop Soup may be some of the best around, and their Egg Rolls stand second to no ones. People their are friendly and they do deliver within a certain radius and I believe a minimum order of $15.

This food is down right disgusting. It took them over an hour to deliver my food. When it got here every thing was cold. Like out of the fridge cold. My rice is clear old. And then when I call I get nothing to compensate ? F this place Follow up. One of the owners ended up calling me, and repeatedly apoloziged and asked if there was anything he could do. Just the fact that he called back a good while after it had even happened, it awesome.

The first time we had this, I loved it! The food was hot and fresh and everything tasted great. The last several times we have ordered takeout, the food tastes and looks as if it has been cooked in old oil. The Rangoon and egg rolls are overcooked as well. I really wanted to love it but I have been disappointed. Just finished my last meal there. With this stomach ache and bad taste in my mouth I doubt I will eat there again.
