Lied to my face not once, not twice, but three times! Highlands location I placed a carryout order for a kids meal. Upon picking up the order, I requested the INCLUDED drink and was told it did not come with a drink. I questioned that, with the second lie of it doesnt come with a drink, I was offered to purchase one --"No, it doesnt come with a drink, but I can ring you up for one". While giving the look of I KNOW THIS COMES WITH A DRINK, I asked a third time -- hoping he would do the right thing and offer the drink. Needless to say, he did not, instead telling me a third time no drink was included. It wasnt until I pulled up the website to show it clearly states "includes a snack and a drink!" that I was offered a drink. REALLY, BOOMBOZZ you created a bad experience over a drink?! Wow.....

Its a expensive place. I got a glutenfree pizza and it cost $20 and got a $3.99 salad and added bacon which cost $2.50. I was pissed off about this. I fought about this but the manager wouldnt take it off. Ususally extra bacon is btw $.50 to $1.00. I almost paid $50 for 2 pizza a salad, drinks. Individual pizza I though was a small ended up as a personal pan with 4 small pizza was $14 and a gluten free one....smh. Drinks $5.00. Been to the hurstbourne location about 1 or 2 years ago and couldnt remember anything about it and was going to give this another try but never thought they would get me like this here. I will never go back. I will continue to go to dominos or hometown or other place for my pizzas. THIS Overpriced place!

Ordered a pizza, received a poor substitute for what they must call pizza. Do not order extra toppings as I would hate to see what single topping appears to be. Asked for the pizza to be cut in squares it did not happen. So I called the store to inform them of their mistakes and the cashier stated they would have a new pizza. New pizza was made this time the pizza once again was made incorrectly and also still no extra topping. A first and last time for everything and this was BOTH! We will not try it again. Did not get what asked for and paid way too much. However, their wings were fine. Maybe they should be a wing place and not deal with pizza.

After the recent news of how the manager is treating employees and continuing to serve customers while sewage floods the kitchen, I will never be eating here again. Please beware! EDIT: The restaurant has responded to this review with a very transparent and thorough explanation after the initial posting. It is obvious, from BOTH sides, the kind of influence social media can have. After reading through the response from the restaurant, I will raise my score on the review as before this incident I have had no problems with the restaurant!

Their food used to be okay but they have changed very much for the worse. Skimpy with cheese on a cheese pizza and the appetizer would have been better if they had bought it frozen from Kroger. It was definitely just some frozen garbage. A complete waste. If Yu want good beers and dont want to eat then youll be fine. Great beers terrible food. They need to do a complete overhaul and get a good chef that has the right to change where things are ordered from.

I have gone back to Boombozz time and again and have always been impressed. The pizza, salads, and sandwiches are all delicious. We recently were given four Pilsner glasses to take home as part of a promotion (buy the beer, get the glass for free) and we use them all the time. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful as well. We live nearby so I thought wed try out their delivery service one night - talk about fast! Love this place!

The service was good, as was the pizza. We were a little frustrated that our salads came at about the same time as our pizza and the place wasnt even busy. The build your own Bloody Mary menu was neat, but some of the items I ordered, like stuffed olives, were not impressive. They were stuffed with the usual pimemtos, which isnt stuffed. Thats how they normally come! And the salt on the rim consisted of maybe 6 salt crystals.

Service left us wanting. Resturant was less than half full and out waitress still drug he feet in getting us our drinks and food. Had to ask for plates after she brought the appetizers, and left our drinks sitting at the bar until another server saw them and delivered them to our table. The food tasted good, and was prepared well, but the service will probably lead me to ordering the food to go in the future

The food and service were excellent. The prices were a little bit high, but not enough to turn me off from the place, especially since we went during the hours to get some discounted items. I was little disappointed in the beer selection. They had many IPAs and high gravity beers. Not many ales or lagers that I enjoyed. All in all a good experience though. Worth trying for the food definitely.

We got the Piera, a thin crust pizza with kalamata olives and lots of delicious cheeses, and the cheese bread. Ordered as carry out and it was ready in 20 minutes. The crust had a good crunch without being overdone and the flavor was great. But the cheese bread - oh man, that cheese bread was something out of this world. Id do this delicious date night-in (for less than $30!) many times over.

I have been here many times because my parents love to eat here. I on the other hand do not. The food here just tastes terrible. Since they promote drinking beer here, you never get a refil on your water. Then for some reason this place gets noisy fast. You cannot have a conversation in there if its a busy night. The bathroom is usually very messy. And the parking is very poor.

Waiter took forever to bring my food. My wings were good . BUT my pizza was SOOOOO greasy to theat point that my pizza dough was falling apart. And to top it all off, when I was ready to go my waiter was NO WHERE to be found for at least 10 minutes. Im so disappointed because Ive heard such good things about the establishment. Maybe next time Ill try the Chicken Alfredo .

One of the best pizza we had. I am very picky about pizza. My husband always teases when I say that New York pizzas are the best. This place comes very close to it. Even my husband said that they must have the magic pizza oven from NY. The waitress Jessica was very professional and attentive to our needs. Definitely will be back.

Good beers and pizza. Plenty of Vegetarian options, helpful staff, good location in the middle of Bardstown Rd, a local culture hub. A solid people pleaser with something for most people. Sports fans find their needs, but you can kind of avoid the sports if youre just looking for cozy and lively dining with friends.

Great pizza and helpful staff. Will be back tomorrow using the private space for a work meeting. Looking forward to trying more menu items. No beer for me tomorrow but just so you know, they have an incredible beer selection on tap. Never seen anything like it & I promise to post some pictures tomorrow.
