The tables were so tight that everyone had to get up and move their chair to get my mothers wheelchair through. It took them 15 minutes to clean off our table after seating us and the service was shoddy at best. I understand it was really busy that day but they did not plan for an appropriately. The people see immediately after us got their food before our table was cleaned. They stuck us in a corner and forgot about us. We asked him to clean off her table twice and they kept forgetting us. The food was horrible. I kept choking are my chicken because it was so dry. The mashed potatoes are obviously out of box. The coleslaw wasnt great and the cream corn was inedible. The white beans were Bland as well. Definitely wasnt worth the wait. If youre looking for BBQ keep driving.

First time visitor and all I can say is the food was amazing! Had the prime rib plate with green beans, mashed potatoes/gravy and fries and banana pudding. The prime rib was so tender and the au jus was delicious. The green beans were seasoned perfectly and I had ordered fries but asked for mashed potatoes and gravy because I sampled some and it was reminiscent of my grandmas. And the banana pudding was also pretty good. However, their pies go quickly. A local place for sure, a hidden surprise and the pricing is great!! Oh, the tea sweet and unsweetened is also spot on! And the service by the staff was great as well. They chuckled at us because we were in food heaven!

This place was jam packed busy, so service was a little slow, but all of the food was outstanding. Two people ordered ribs, they came out with a dry rub, but I did see other tables who had wet ribs. I guess you need to specify when ordering. The pulled pork was very good, as expected. All of the sides were top notch, especially the burgoo. The corn bread muffins are corn meal style, not cake, and delicious.

All around this hidden gem is a phenomenal place to eat ... The staff are friendly and awesome ... The food was beyond good ... Think of food Nirvana!!! One could easily go into a food comma here. And the desserts omg all homemade and simply to die for.... So just remember even tho its a simple building you will def find your country home cooking heaven here.

Food was very delicious home cooking! We are traveling and stopped for dinner on a Saturday evening. This is a unique diner that is hard to Find anywhere in the days of chain restaurants. We were very pleasantly stuffed and very good service and value. Unfortunately they allow smoking. Ribs and chocolate chess pie - out of this world. We will go back

Off I-24 a bit but worth the drive! Excellent pulled pork sandwich. Im very picky about cole slaw but I liked this creamy cole slaw. We tried the chocolate pie and it was fabulous! This is a local favorite. 2p.m. on a Saturday and the place was continuously busy. Excellent food and great service!

Absolutely AMAZING!!!! The food was the best Ive had in Southern Kentucky and Northern Tennessee.The baby back ribs were the best Ive ever had. The staff treats you like family, and the other patrons are just as nice! It may look simple on the outside, but it has so much love on the inside.

Awesome little BBQ joint. The servings were huge and almost everything was under $10. Need to go back and try some more, especially the deserts. The wait staff and owner were friendly and cool too. One of the many cool little restaurants to check out in Hopkinsville.

We got there right after the eclipse, when thousands of people were trying to leave Hopkinsville, and the crowds were huge. We were seated within 10 minutes and enjoyed a wonderful meal, served quickly and graciously, May have been the best BBQ Ive ever had.

Great food and a true American treasure. When driving from Michigan to Florida I drive out of the way to visit this restaurant! Someone gave them a negative because they allow smoking.... grow up. Woodshed is tops in my book!

Not bad at all but it has a limited menu. The sides were Ok but kind of bland. We both ordered the prime rib but the cut was not true prime rib. It as good but not true prime rib. The service was very friendly though.

Oh I love this place. Moonlight cannot compare to the Woodshed! Best of all, the homemade pies. Service is great, the sweetest waitresses you will ever meet. I give it a 5 star rating. BBQ Citee `~~~~~

Great place to go for a simple low cost plate of BBQ. I highly recommend the Burgoo. If you have never had it before, try it. It doesnt sound very appetizing but it is excellent.
