This is the best kept secret on the Bourbon Trail. Its a restaurant, bar, and liquor store. They offer tasty sandwiches and the crab chowder is amazing! The bourbon selection on the bar was fantastic and inexpensive. The liquor store had a great selection of wine including more Kentucky wine then youd think exists. The owner knows her stuff and used to work as a distiller at Buffalo Trace. I found some rare bottles of bourbon on the shelves and made new friends at the bar. Its the perfect place to stop in for lunch or a bourbon flight while visiting the Bourbon Trail. Loved it!!!

I stopped by here on my final night in Frankfort. I wish Id have gone on my first so that I could keep returning. Honestly one of the best bar experiences Ive had, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, as were the flurry of regulars. The selection of bourbons was excellent, fairly priced and the staff knew about the product. I ended up staying long enough that I had dinner there and the cobb salad was also top notch. Absolutely wonderful place that Id recommend you go out of your way to get to.

One of the best places in downtown Frankfort! Free wine tasting on Thursday and Friday nights. Locals come hang out, sitting outside when then weather is nice. Many bring dogs (outside only!) and hang out, drinking wine and eating a cheese plate or sandwich. Not local or not a regular? Dont worry, theyll make you feel like one. Wide selection of wines, beer and liquor, the employees can always make a good recommendation.

Capital Cellars is a neighborhood bar that happens to have a liquor store up front. Think of it as Cracker Barrel for wine lovers. You can buy your bottle and have it chilled for you, then drink it while you sit at the small bar and munch on a cheese or fruit plate. The staff is friendly and they offer wine tastings on most weekends and during downtown events.

My Sister and I stopped in for a visit while visiting Frankfort. Fabulous place. I found several bourbons I couldnt find anywhere in my area. The staff was great. Knowledgeable and friendly. My sister really enjoyed it also. I cant wait until my next visit to Frankfort. This will be my first stop.

Helpful, friendly staff and a great wine and bourbon selection; a lot of good craft beers too. They do a lot for customers with tastings, live music, and events pretty frequently. Nice place to stop in, have a glass (or two) of wine, and get to know some locals.
