My husband and I were desperately searching for a small place to grab a beer and dessert and ended up discovering this wonderful little place right on the corner of High Street (near Ivy Tech). When we went in we were greeted almost immediately and brought our drink orders. The owner then came with with beer cheese and pretzels apologizing that we might have to wait a bit for our food order because there were about 4 orders ahead of us. I thought that was nice. Didnt have the heart to tell him we were just getting dessert. They dont have a big menu (yet) and we didnt get to try the food (next time well go for dinner) but since they only have two dessert offerings we ordered one of each and would definitely get them again. Very tasty. It has a nice atmosphere, very clean, and I really hope the food is good and they get overwhelmed with business! Please stop by to check it out even its its just for a drink...they had a large bar area. Must be 21 to enter so its not a family place. We will go back very soon!

This is a gorgeous old building transformed from perhaps a bank, into a bar/restaurant. Corner location. Lots of windows and light. Across from the Hilton and the river. Should make a lot of money. But I dont think it will, unfortunately. Prices are too high. Food is not good. Menu is odd and actually states, its always changing to adapt to what our customers like. Im thinking, pick what you do best and do it consistently. My husbands lasagna special was probably not homemade. For certain, it was nuked because the cheese on top wasnt melted. Garden salad add chicken was a pathetic portion. I left hungry. I would return for a drink perhaps, and for the atmosphere. Not for the food.

Having stopped in at the Captains Tavern 1 West High Street Lawrenceburg, IN 47025 several times in the last year and a half its always been a great experience. The staff are friendly and know their drinks quite well. If youre in the area you should stop in youll enjoy yourself.

Sat for 15 minutes at the bar and didnt even get acknowledged went next door to Strongs for pizza glad I made this choice there pizza is amazing

Great place to bring friends and family. Friendly staff food is toasted or baked No deep fryers here. Cannot wait to come back.
