Never had a problem before. But wow. Today, I came in and I guess they dont think we are paying attention but after they switched all of the food to lunch food. Which they had it switched quickly but it took them 45 minutes to bring out the rolls. Then once it was time for dessert the bar was bare. The chocolate water fall thing was off almost empty, what was left you could see hair and debre in it. No cotton candy, no Melton chocolate lava cake, all the pies looked like they have sat out for days. I had to ask four different waitresses to see if they would please fill the dessert bar up. Only my waitress went and handled it. The cooks were too busy along with the head cook flirting with the female salad bar attendants, to even make sure everything was satisfactory to the customers. And I am not the only one who complained and felt robbed. The food they just put out was cold. And remember this was supposed to be fresh because it was a switch from breakfast to lunch. A few families requested their money back, while the only manager pulling her weight plead with us all too just wait she will fix it. But as we waited she kept saying 30 more minutes. Basically instead doing it herself, taking all the frozen foods and heat them up, we was asked to wait till the cooks were finally done trying to get laid, to even began to start cooking. I will think twice before I come back. There food is not fresh. Not only is it fully prepared and frozen solid when it arrives to the restaurant but the staff is too disrespectful, and it is well over priced. Especially for the quality and especially how the staff allows the buffet to be cold and bare. 90% of the food is bland.

I literally can eat anything....accept Golden Corral. I literally couldnt finish anything I tried. Tacos...horrible meat, worse than MREs. Sweet and sour chicken was so sweet I almost puked. Bourbon chicken was low quality and mediocre at best while the places at the mall seem to get it right Golden Corral cant. Pulled Pork was slimy and fatty and a definite appetite killer. Corn on the cob was literally just sitting in buttery water or extremely watered down butter. Fajita meat was so dry I almost choked on it. The blueberry pie was definitely out of a bottom shelf can. The famous chocolate water fountain looks cool but did almost nothing to add a chocolatey flavor to the rice crispy treat. It is probably just chocolate colored trans fat (hydrogenated oils) and sugar. I cant express how low quality and gross this food is. Ive eaten chicken feet, pigs feet, MREs, menudo, Chorizo, all sorts of other strange foods and raw delicacies but it was Golden Corral that turned my appetite the most. The staff was pleasant, friendly and helpful. Nothing against this specific location. I assume all golden coral food comes from surplus school lunch ingredients.

The only reason I gave it 1 star is because it wont let you give it less. This place is extremely nasty and dirty. I havent been in a long time because of how low the quality got but last week I thought Id give it a shot and found out that nothing had changed it was still nasty and dirty. Then of course about a week after I went I see the news story about them staying open with no water to wash peoples hands. No big surprise there, when I was there, there was food all over the floor employees were picking stuff out with their fingers and eating it this place is just nasty. Hopefully the health department will make them clean this place up now that theyve been on the news but I doubt it the health department is just as useless as whoevers in charge of keeping Golden Corral clean.

The utensil to pick up taco shell was so wide you couldnt pick one up. So I used it to kick them apart carefully picked up with my finger s. Making sure I didnt touch the others. The manager jumped me so I says look and showed him how that thing didnt work. I have seen people eating from the servers. Kids touching putting back. Etc. I did not appreciate him at all doing this. The chili was extremely bad looking too dried up in container. The menu changed. Beans cabbage etc cheaper food s for those that eat after 8. We can in earlier. So poor rating from me. Is the goal to put bad serving utensils to grasp food therefore you dont /cant take the food ????

Im a buffet person. Id much rather eat at buffet, where you pay up front, select the food you want, and if you dont like it, go back for something else. This Golden Corral is by far the best one weve ever eaten at. The food is almost always hot and fresh. The salads always look like they were just cut, and indeed, there are employees constantly monitoring, and making more salad fixins. They have a good variety of main dishes, and sides. Desserts are on a par with most full service restaurants. I take visiting friends and family there with no apologies.

Expensive. Not only that, it is not very clean. And while I get that this is a smorgasbord type setting, some of the people who eat there are not very clean. Even a few would pick up food with their hands if a serving spoon or large tongs were not in the food bowl directly. Not only that, but one of the workers was spray cleaning dishes and pans within just feet of the salad bar, while the water was all over the floor. It was gross. I paid $11 dollars to lose my appetite and there are far less expensive means to diet if I needed to.

Took my son here today for a lunch date. Upon arriving he had to use the restroom. We went in the restroom where there was fecal matter on the floor. I called the restaurant from inside the restroom and demanded a manager come in. Was told they were sending someone. Not quickly enough for my liking. I had to warn two customers coming into the restroom to watch their step. I got my money refunded (with no issue) and will not be back. Needless to say I lost my appetite. I took my business elsewhere.

There was a young man that must had just had surgery or something and he needed a walker to walk. Well the man was obviously in pain but the people there just would stare at him and I could tell that made him uncomfortable. This was the restaurants fault but the story didnt seen to make it easier on him either. Food was good but the cheapass cooking the steaks was giving out child size portions. This drives me nuts!!!
