..... (deep sigh)....where to begin? If I could rate no stars, then I absolutely would. I came here due to my other choice of a restaurant being tragically closed (tears). I was already over this way, so my family and I decided to make the most of it and try Green Tomato. Lord, were we wrong!!!!!! That was the absolute worst food ever. My Dear GOD have you people never heard of seasoning, salt, or anything similar????!!!! How do you allegedly serve so called "fried" fish and tomatoes, when the alleged crust/batter fell of to the touch. #FIX IT LORD!!!!! WHERE IS THE DAMN HEALTH INSPECTOR???!!! They allowed this lady to cough all on the food, without cleaning or changing it. The food wasnt hot, but with the exception of a damn bone in every piece of fish including the catfish nuggets, they made sure to feed you like a rabbit. This meant a ridiculously overflowing amount of lettuce in front of you. STAY AWAY IF YOU CHERISH YOUR TASTEBUDS!!!!

The best home cooked many vegetables to choose from. Rutabbegas cooked perfect. I know I spelled it wrong but spell check didnt know what I was talking about either. lol As much as you want. Salad bar loaded and they dont fill half the people up with deserts. Chicken , beef , fish. You can see menu all on line. All you can eat and you always get your moneys worth.

The food was ok. Some items were delicious. Most of the fried foods were overcooked, hard and dry, but not all were that way. The vegetables were mostly good. Service was friendly. Tea and coffee are included in buffet price. Soft drinks are extra. Interior of restaurant is not fancy and looks a little run down. We will not return.

I dont see how anyone could hate this place. Ive been eating here since I was a kid. Never ever had one problem with this place. Extremely clean establishment, very friendly staff, and the food is fully cooked, always fresh, and definitely affordable. This is a well-respected restaurant that deserves 6 stars!!!!

The fried green tomatos are about the only thing good at this converted chinese buffet which now serves highschool cafateria quality mystery meat, watered down everything and wilted veggies... I would have walked out and went to hardees had they not took my $6.50...

The waitress was RUDE she asked my uncle who is mentally challenged and non verbal is he wanted more tea he shook is head yes and she said what a response when told he could not speak she said I was talking about something else LIE!!!!! We will never come back!!!

The food was simple down home cooking at its best. The fried green tomatoes were perfect. Just amazing. And the bread pudding...there just arent words to describe the texture and taste. The first bite is pure heaven! And at only $4.99 a person its a must try.

Im surprised at the complaints. Great customer service, great southern food and you cant beat the prices! Where else can you go and feed a family of 6 (all you can eat) for under $30?!?! Love it! I hope they continue to offer affordable prices.

Fresh, crisp salad bar. Good selection. Food is good but atmosphere needs help. Staff is awesome. Always the best help. Interior walls need a though cleaning and freshening up. Decorative wood trim has suspicious stains on it.

Clean. Somber music. Good cooked vegetables and salad bar. I do wish a more convenient ice cream. The dipper is handled by everyone. I dont like that . so I cant get ice cream. But I love everything else.
