We were down in Wichita this weekend. Sunday morning had me thinking ... where can we go that everyone is going to be happy! So I googled where is the best Sunday brunch and Riverside Cafe kept popping up. Let me tell you it ended up as the best meal all weekend. I was so set on breakfast but then saw the French Dip. Our waitress was one who truly walked on water in my book. She anticipated everything we needed before we asked . Im a pretty picky person having worked in the restaurant industry since the age of 15. You may have to wait a little to get in. But trust me. Every bite you take youll see it was worth the wait. Prices are very affordable. We had French Dip, Rueben w/FF 1/2 lb bacon cheese burger

Use too be an amazing place but now that they have a server that shoots up meth and has Hepatitis C working there is gross! You need to evaluate your employees! As a parent I would not want my child exposed too that! If you go there make sure Ashly Wells isnt your server! I think if someone is a junkie they shouldnt be able to handle food! Or someone that sells themselves on the side after they just get off work.

Riverside is another Wichita staple. Staff is always friendly. The food usually (85% of the time) comes out good the other 15% of the time i am not sure what goes on but stuff isnt right. The pancakes have always been delicious though and the coffee isnt bad. They are located conveniently throughout town as well and who knows maybe youll see Kirstie Alley.

HEALTH INSPECTORS NEED TO GO HERE Dude in the kitchen was handling food with his bare hands.. I saw him place my bacon on the plate with his nasty hands. I dont even touch my own food why would I like some stranger putting his fingers on my food? Wear gloves, use tongs to pick up the bacon.. thats day 1 stuff.. I wonder what else they dont do correctly

The staff are kind and have always been very child-friendly. My 5, 3, & 1yr old are always treated well. The food is delicious, its always hard to decide.. The liver and onions were my go to for a while, then I tried the fish and the fried chicken... Oh my goodness the chicken is soo good. The prices are affordable, and the wait is never long.

I wanted to like this place, I really did. Overall our experience was Terrible. Service was poor and very slow, our order was messed up 3 times, we were overcharged and within 15 minutes of eating gastrointestinal warfare ensued and now our bathroom is a disaster area. I Definitely Do Not Recommend!

I enjoy the cozy old time feelin. My mom & I enjoy the great selection of food. I especially love the great selection of delicious sugarfree deserts! Yum! Not to mention the very reasonable prices great place to eat!

Great menu and the venue has lots of character and charm. Staff was on top of things, asked for feedback, etc. Definitely a great diner experience. Also love the massive cups so you dont have to wait for refills.

Great prices, employees, and fooooood! It’s just a small, local, and tasty shop right outside riverside. I like grabbing breakfast in the summer and heading over to Oakpark located in Riverside to play disc golf.

Reminds you of times gone by. Throwback pictures, juke boxes, old barstools. This is a place with a lot of memories and its not afraid to show its age. The food is rather good which is a reason to go in its self.

Wait staff was super nice and food was superb! Coffe was typical remind you of your grandparents coffee. I got the SLOP for my meal, which is like the skillets at IHOP and Denys, it was amazing.

I think the breakfast food is pretty decent here. Its pretty consistent and the staff is friendly. It is absolutely packed on the weekends. They make fabulous rolls there.
