I picked this restaurant for my bday dinner with my sis & bff. All I can say is, WOW!!! When we first arrived, Friday night 7 oclock, there were lots of eager people standing waiting to see wht awaited them.We were told it would b an Hr wait. We made our way to stand in bar area, which was full, whn a waiter came over with a portable machine to take our order. I thought that was cool. No standing behind people seated @ the bar trying to order. We got seats @the bar and only had to wait 35 min b4 we were paged to our table. We were seated by, Dave. Very professional and pleasant. Omg he is awesome. . He explained why they are not open for lunch because they fly in all their seafood fresh everyday. He then went over their specials of the day. He was so helpful, and his descriptions of the food, made me want to try almost EVERYTHING on the menu. We ordered the bang bang Shrimp, ceviche, and bacon wrapped scallops, for apps. I highly recommend them all! !! Fresh, fresh, and fresh. My sisters description was "sex n ur mouth".Our dinners came in a short time and we were all so pleased with with taste and quality of the food. I ordered the tilapia. It was so good. I have had tilapia soo many times, but never that tasted this good. The skin was crispy and delicious. Its a must try. A cute little female manager, name that starts with a "B" (sorry), came over to check on us. We expressed to her how we had loved our experience. We will definitely go back for dinner or even to check out the HHr. The only gripe that I do have, is that I wish our waitress was a little more informative about how things were prepared. She was pleasant prompt to serve, so we made it through just fine. .

this was a bad experience. I had good experiences on a few occasions at the one in Orlando and a decent experience at this one in Southlake, TX several months ago. Tonight the oysters were not freshly shucked and had a slightly dried film on them. The wait person was terrible, disappeared for periods, had no personality and I had to flag down other staff twice to get 2 missing drinks, etc. 2 of us had grouper,1 portion was Ok and mine was a dried little tail about half the size of the other one. I complained and the manager came over and was defensive: "we weigh all pieces of our fish at 7.5 ounces..." (This was a classic fish story...) She didnt realize the waitress already said she bring another one so I explained that to her. She should have said..."Im so sorry, well replace it as soon as possible..." The replacement came after everyone else was done so its in my fridge...it was decent but not generous. I was watching the other staff and all but one were stiff and robotic with no social amenity. On the way out, a table was complaining to the same manager about their server...an obviously inexperienced and poorly trained soul who looked frightened and never smiled...We had 2 birthdays in our party and wont go back...PS the Bang Bang Shrimp app was good and 2 of the meals got good marks....but theres plenty of places in the area that are FUN....

Bonefish has become our "go to" fish spot in Southlake. We love it and have brought friends with us for several meals. Tonights meal was delicious, as usual, but our server on this visit rushed us from the moment we arrived at the table. Before dinner drinks were rushed and she offered new drinks when were not even half way through with the current drink. She rushed our dinner order and when we inquired about the specials she pointed to a small menu and advised we could read about the specials ourselves. Our friends had not eaten here before and I was hoping they would get a full review or at least a quick review of the choices. That did not happen. Definitely not the usual quality of service. The server also tried to take my food and asked if I wanted it boxed when we all had more than half a plate left to finish. Dessert was the same way. She brought the ticket with the dessert and she reluctantly brought me coffee. She definitely put a damper on a very nice meal with friends. Hopefully, next time she will be a bit more attentive. Hostess and manager were great, as usual.

Been wanting to try this place out for a bit and finally got the opportunity this past weekend. Walked in and was seated right away. After waiting about 10 minutes for a waitstaff to show up I decided to go to the bar. Went by the hostess stand, explained the situation. Sat at the bar and within a minute the manager showed up and apologized for the delay he then spoke to the bartender and asked him to give my party 5 star service and that an appetizer was on the house! So i am think great all will be well. Ordered the bang bang shrimp (awesome by the way) drinks came straight away and I felt things was looking up. ordered the rainbow trout and it came out cold, requested some bread, it never showed up so we decided to finish up and go elsewhere. Got the bill and low and behold I had to pay for the FREE ON THE HOUSE appetizer. long story short. service is horrible, food is cold and I will not be back! There are plenty of other restaurants in the Southlake square who want to earn my business and loyalty and I will just go there.

We did not have a good experience, although the food and service were very good. We sat on the patio because it was a nice evening. We usually always sit on the patio whenever available at most restaurants. Our meal was miserable because of "FLIES" everywhere on the patio, which is why I listed the "décor" as poor-fair. We complained to the waitress and told her there should be a fan. She said that the establishment knew about the fly problem on the patio and they had told the manager in the past. However, she said he would not do anything. So my question is WHY??? Why would you seat people on a patio in this nice restaurant where you know you have issues with flies???? Do you think you are too good for a fan out there? Are you worried about how you "appear," you want to look fancy, yet allow your patrons to be pestered and annoyed by flies while they eat? Very disappointed and wont be back. Like I said I ALWAYS sit on the patio at other restaurants and have never experienced this problem.

Stop by in between my trip to seattle but a deal ride w ublack and i decided to eat on this place , ordered Calamari singapore and tilapia w jasmine rice and unknown item. A great place for quite candle light but definitely no for trend hype and crowds , good for mom and son or family , not a traveller like me with sweater and yippie style. For me it is a good for killing time plus having a limo service deal was great ! tipical restaurant prices, taste ok, but style of interior i like it. Service was ok but i paid more than enough tips.will i am coming back ? well no but may be with collegue food is good but i like monsterous and bombastic grill so....for me like 1-10 i gave 6. why do i have to eat bread with meaningless oily presto(i believe it is presto with a aquaduck of oil) ah i may be got no style
