A co-worker and I went here for three orders to go. All three of them were $5 boxes, and all three of them were wrong. I ordered a box with chicken strips with one of each seasoning, red rice and beans, and Jambalaya. What I got was two pieces of fried chicken, one of which was really small, and only got one seasoning, and only one side. How is it that you completely forget to put a whole side in the box? The other two orders were also supposed to have the chicken strips, but were fried chicken as well. Those two orders had the correct sides. I dont understand how that many consecutive orders could be so screwed up, when none of them were mixed up.

Its looks like these owners may have figured it out and are running a nice Popeyes. Lines look long during first week though go real quick.. (quickly getting less great) and by November its slow service...slow.. Closed 10 minutes early on a Friday... Employee hid by trash can that closed drive thru early..Serving the wrong chicken regularly .. Spicy is mild etc. They have too many cones around the business.. And they didnt carry butterfly shrimp on local add running..

Ordered the family size chicken strips which is 16 pieces. Some were just that pieces I would not have considered it as a strip. As for the staff the person calling out the names she was not polite just stood there with her arms folded, then when I had to ask for my sauces it was like an inconvenience but then the person who put the food in the boxes should have included the sauces. Could have been she was having a bad day as she was arguing with one of the managers.

Ive been a pretty big fan of Popeyes from travelling around the country. When I saw that we were getting one here in Topeka, I was pretty hyped. The first few times we went, it was near perfect. Quick drive-thru times, hot food, no problems. They have seemed to fall a bit from that perfection since, but over all it is great chicken for a reasonable price.

Chicken was great. Nice n hot. Prices were good. Friendly staff. Says online u can get mac n cheese at the topeka store but thats not true. Potatoes n gravy for one person is too small. Need 2 for a real meal. No butter or honey in the bag. No table service in the bag. At least i got a napkin. Visited at 745pm 2 17 17.

Ive been to Popeyes before and wasnt very impressed. But since then, theyve improved their menu, and the staff here does a wonderful job of serving. They are always polite, almost Chick-fil-A polite. The food is delicious and consistent. And accurate. Thats all we want at any fast-food restaurant, right?

Best chicken in the state. Beats the other chains (though Krispy Krunchy is really good too) and beats our "local treasures" like Brookville Hotel. It just tastes a lot better. This store is clean and so far they seem to do a good job of moving people through the line quickly. Louisiana Fast!

New to Topeka, have been open a couple of months. Excellent staff and service is always super friendly, love to see smiles on faces when people are working. Management takes the time to come out and talk with people dining. Food is awesome, hot, fast and fresh!!

We went after church so they were a little busy. Food was not warm. Fish is greasy but popcorn shrimp was good. Chicken strips tough. (order chicken pieces) Customer service was great. They replaced the food and the young lady was very friendly.

The service, the staff, and the food were very good indeed. The chicken tasted super fresh and was delicious. Only negative was the entire dining room was dirty and stayed that way for our whole visit - late on a Tuesday evening.

Service is usually pretty quick here. Chicken isnt too greasy and has overall good flavor. Biscuits are really good and probably one of the best parts of any combo meal. Overall the place is pretty clean for a fast food joint.

Crispy, hot, and delicious! Even the white meat was tender and not dry. Nice staff and well designed interior. Good size pieces and a large family sized side with our family meal. Nice to have another fried chicken choice!
