Tried this place for the first time last night. It was Valentines Day so things were busy but we were seated 20 minutes after we arrived, which is what we had been told. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive, to begin with and we placed our drink orders and meal orders quickly. Our drinks were brought and then we waited. And waited. And waited. Our meals were 3 kids burgers, an adult burger and a chicken wrap - buffalo style. We were eventually served our meals 45 minutes after placing our order. I did flag another server down after 35 minutes and ask that our order be checked on as it was taking so long. Our waitress then appeared and said they were on their way but we ended up waiting another 10 minutes. Our kids were getting very restless and one even dissolved into tears she was so hungry. When our meals did arrive, they were lukewarm and the fries had started to harden. And finally, the chicken wrap was plain, not buffalo. Not the stellar experience I was hoping for. The waitress did express that they were really busy but who isnt on Valentines Day? Something I would think you could plan for and staff accordingly. And we did not sit down until 7pm so most of the dinner crowd had thinned out by that time. I am willing to give it another chance given the holiday but not much more than that.

Got there at 11am for lunch our server got us drinks and menus in good time and our food order aswell. After getting my food i realized my bacon was not added and waited for the "how is everything" check. That never happened which is unacceptable and to make matters worse i had to go to the back to find my server standing there chatting up the cooks just to pay my bill!!!! I wont be returning here nor will i recommend tbis establishment.

Waited 30 minutes for burgers that were literally burned to a crisp, all you could taste was char. Told they were "really busy" but theres only 6 customers here. Terrible food & worse customer service. I do not recommend a stop here.

Food is okay at best. Wifi is unusable. Service is slow and management is poor. Lighting is dim and it hard to see what you are eating. I am appalled with this being one of the few restaurants in Winterset.

They forgot to make a couple meals in our group. Couple meals sent back for being gross. Overpriced. They did not apologize for all the issues had during the meal. Not recommended.

Food takes a little while to cook, but definitely worth the wait! Amazing taste and great waiter/waitress service! Will definitely keep eating here!
