A real review of Pancheros. Their food is decent, but the staff are quite unpleasant. I love mexican burrito restaurants like Pancheros, Chipotle, and Qdoba and I have visited them all many times. It doesnt matter what Pancheros I visit, its always an experience I dont look forward to—until I have my meal and can sit down and dig in. Most of the time, their staff arent explicitly rude, but rather just very apathetic. They just dont care about you or your order, they just want to get through their day—and it shows. Theres also the language barrier. I havent encountered a Pancheros yet that isnt fully staffed by people who know just enough English to decipher your order. As for their food, Pancheros is my favorite for the tortillas. They are the only one that makes them fresh from dough. Other burrito shops just warm up pre-packaged tortillas. Pancheros is also the only burrito shop with jalapenos as an filling option. As for overall food quality and taste, Pancheros would rank in my least favorites, but they are definitely not bad. The fresh tortillas really makes up for it! Cost is comparable to other burrito shops, but I find all of them to be more expensive than I feel they are worth. A single burrito with avocodo and a drink will cost you $10. Portions are huge, consistent with other burrito shops. Easily nearly a pound each. I recommend sharing one with a friend. Cuts the cost considerably and most people will find a half a burrito to be enough for their hunger. Overall, decent food tarnished by high cost and staff that make me dread going through the line to order.

For those that dont know: Pancheros is the to burritos, as Subway is to sandwiches. You pick your meet, been, rice,vegi, and salsa topping and they are all wrapped up into a freshly made tortilla. The tortilla is what really makes it come together. All ingredients are fresh and make for a truly wonderful meal. The portions are large and will leave you full for all day if you dare to eat a burrito by yourself. If you dont like burritos they have many other options like a quesadilla with any of their fillings. As far as complaints, i dont have many. As another reviewer mentioned there is a slight language barrier. They also can be in a bit of rush at times. This is usually because there will always be a line to the door during the lunch hours Overall my favorite place for a burrito. 4 out of 5 from me for good service and food. Communication issues and small space knock off one star.

This is, with out a doubt, the best build-a-burrito chain around. Absolutely puts Chipotle and Qdoba to shame. They make the tortillas fresh and they mix the ingredients for you so if you order guacamole in your burrito you dont get all of it in one mouthful. Cool. People that are complaining are cry-babies.

Unfriendly staff. They have the music so loud you cant here your phone ring. And they mumble so you cannot hear them behind the counter and they cannot hear you unless you practically yell. Our order is almost always wrong due to this, so we have stopped going to this location.

Normally I like Pancheros, but this was the one where I got food poisoning. I think it was from old sour cream. Now I prefer Bandit Burrito or QDoba, or Chipotle (they have naturally raised meat).

For the price either the ingredients quality need to be upped or they need to offer free sides. The burritos stuffed with 1/2 pound of beans, and the meats just arent gourmet enough.
