I have never been to this location of PE before. Usually go to the one by valley West which is bomb. It is noon on a sunday. The place is dead and I thought it was odd. Went through the drive thru quick enough and ordered basic stuff. Orange chicken and rice. Got told to pull around because they needed to make orange chicken. Pulled around and noticed everyone else behind me had to pull around and park to wait as well. Took 20 min to get chicken. Thinking positive, I was excited for fresh orange chicken. Got home to eat it. Over done and not terribly warm. I live a whole 5 min away... No wonder nobody was there at lunch time on a weekend. Doubt this place makes much money.

My daughter ended up with food poisoning 4 hours after eating at this location. She had been asking to eat here for a few weeks and against my better judgment I agreed. The food was cold, employees were moving shelving out the store while we were there (none of them washed their hands before returning to work), food prep services were dirty...After throwing up and having diarrhea all night i suppose she wont ask to eat at Panda Express again. Which is good, because there are higher quality, non corporate restaurants in town that I prefer.

I love Panda Express but will avoid theating Ankeny store from now on. Every time I go there is at least a 5 minute wait to even order, then another 10-20 minutes waiting to pay and receive my food. I just waited over 20 minutes to get a simple meal, had to go back inside to get sweet and sour sauce which I asked for, and the food was terrible. Everything was old or overcooked and the fried rice didnt even taste right. I will make the extra drive to Altoona from now on.

First time through the the drive through at around 9 pm waiting 10+ minutes in drive through and also forgot soy sauce when I specifically asked for it at the order screen and had to deal with the doors being locked and employees playing games and not unlocking the door for me and another employee just to get the soy sauce they forgot to give me. overall not impressed the slightest at how they treated my business

This is the worst place I have ever been terrible service and every time I go there they tell me that they are out of teriyaki chicken how can you be out of teriyaki chicken every time I come The manager is very mean and rude very very very poor service!!!!!! If anyone know how I can get in contact with corporate please give me the number and we greatly appreciate it

Received good service at the store here today. The girls that were working were very nice, and fast. I got home to eat my food, and the chicken was rock hard, and there was hardly any sauce on it. My "chow mein" consisted of more cabbage than noodles. This isnt my first time at this location when my food hasnt been fresh. Very disappointed in the quality of the food.

Food here is good but when they say they open at 1030 they actually open t 1035 and they have NO food ready at hat time. If you open at 1030 you should have people come in at 10 to cook the food so you have food ready when you open and opening late isnt helpful. They are also pretty rude here. Ill probably be going to the altoona location from now on.

Really appreciated being the only person in line and being ignored for orders in drive thru, while no one helped the girl working drive until a line formed behind me and I had to leave. Thanks. Edit: For the record, the drive thru was empty when I walked in, Im not pretending that drive thru customers arent part of "the line".

Chicken was over cooked, so was the Shanghai beef. Out of everything at 1:30 pm. Had to wait for fried rice, egg rolls, sweet and sour. They were more worried about cleaning and walking around than preparing food for waiting customers. Not the same quality as the other PE in the area.

Poor customer service always out of food you order. I have had to wait for at least 15 minutes for them to prepare the food. Altoona location has excellent service, I think they need to make some changes at the Ankeny location.

I usually love Panda Express but the girl at the window basically told me I was ordering incorrectly (say the side first?) and the fried rice was still crunchy. Very disappointing.
