I only go there because my wife loves their wet burritos. Me, I dislike it more every time. Last week I ordered a New York steak, well done. The place wasnt full. After 30 minutes of munching on chips and salsa, the waiter said it was going to take a little longer because I wanted "well done". Really? NOW it was my fault? Our plates finally came ONE HOUR after we ordered. We knew the exact time because my daughter had a phone picture of her almost unacceptable FROZEN drink, with the time. My meat wasnt sizzling, so I touched it right after the waiter put the plate down and while she still was at our table. It was cold, and so were the fries. The usual "plates are very hot" was never said. I ate because I was very hungry, even cold that steak was good, but the pico de gallo salsa was a joke. People on a table next to us were equally exasperated. I heard them ask for the manager. When the manager came, their food came. All she said was OH, PERFECT! and left without even apologizing. That was rude, stupid, coward, laughable. WOW. Another time they apologized and offered us free deserts for the wait, we hadnt even complained... not anymore. Now they blame it on you. Its your fault the other people are waiting too! :)

The experience we had at Hacienda tonight was awful. It usually is very pleasant, but this time not so much. My fathers food was completely wrong, not the correct food he clearly stated. My mothers nachos fiesta was dry, they used shredded cheese instead of the queso and among her nachos were small fruit fly(nats). My food which was the fresh taco treo, was so soggy from grease the soft shell fell apart on the bottom and the top was over cooked it was hard and chewy. I had gotten fries instead of the rice and beans it usually came with and they were stone cold. We waited a very long time for our food especially when they had to remake my fathers. Tracy our waitress was sweet but very distracted and unfocused. We usually have a very pleasant time great atmosphere but tonight I feel like no one really took their job seriously in customer service especially the upkeep of the bathrooms! They really need to be cleaned. Sorry but the Erskine Hacienda get a 1 star. :(

Very average. Clearly not authentic Mexican. I asked our waitress for one soft shelled, grilled chicken taco with lettuce and cheese, I also asked for a side of rice with the cheese dip on top. She looked at me like she didnt even know what I was talking about. My taco came out with cheese dip on it (not an issue) and they completely forgot my rice. By the time our waitress came back we were finished eating so I could not ask for my rice. They charged me $6.79 for my one taco! Our waitress Kayleigh I believe was her name, was never stationary when talking to us, she was always on the move. She acted like she was too busy. It was 8.30 on a Wednesday night, they we not that busy. Needless to say, we will not be going back.

My husband and I got the Mexican food to go, so that we could eat at home. Ordering online was exceedingly easy as was paying for food. It was ready to be picked up at the time specified and the staff was courteous when we arrived to pick it up. However upon reaching home the food was only lukewarm, and the portion size was very small considering the amount we paid. While the food was good and we might visit again it will not become our regular place to go. When I spend $21 on dinner I expect me and my husband to not still be hungry afterward; and we are both small people and dont eat copious amounts of food, the portions were just that small.

Place is amazing. People please stop comparing it to authentic Mexican food. It never claimed to be. Just enjoy its deliciousness. And as far as people saying the service is sometimes slow, or poor well deal with it. Thats just customer service in its entirety nowadays. Has nothing to do with this place specifically. Shut up and grab some chips and salsa. Hacienda keep up the good work. Much love!!

The food quality will make your toilet pay after your visit. Tables are always wet and covered in salt and chip scraps. Recently was sat a table that salsa on the seat and was served a rock hard and dry chimichonga. Head down Western for a real Mexican food experience. Hacienda has dropped its food quality as well. If you enjoy Taco Bell that has been sitting in your fridge for a week this is your place.

Horrible food. Takes forever to get to you. You would be better off microwaving a frozen burrito at home than coming to this place. They increase their prices and decrease their quality, if there ever was any quality to begin with. Seriously dont go here. Just awful. All of the 5 star posts by "A Google User" are fake. Worst restaurant experience Ive had in years.

Yes- it really is just as bad as everyone else is saying. I cant even believe how bad it was, and Ive been known to eat sandwiches from a gas station. Ive been sitting here for 3 hours, just reflecting on exactly how any food could have ever been so terrible. I almost went to 7-11 for hot dogs tonight and am severely regretting my decision.

Its basically the applebys of Mexican food. The real question you should be asking yourself though, is whether or not its better since its essentially the same price. The answer to THAT question is "No." I went once, and we left after the appetizer. This place is about as Mexican as Olive Garden. Dont waste your time.

Very good dinner. First time visit. We tried a variety of things. Unique textures and flavors. Worth a visit to broaden your experience! Husband and i really enjoyed our entrees. Kids werent thrilled but were good sports to try things. They did like the chicken samosa, but were not fans of much else.

Great tex-mex. Chips and salsa are the best part. If you dont like salsa, get the homemade ranch to dip them in. Friday night liter of frozen margaritas is on special, which is a great deal but normally busy. Get there early or prepare for a wait!

Worse tacos in town. I would rather eat cold taco bell. Dont understand how people like The salsa, it tastes like ketchup, and the taco meat taste like bad sloppy Joe from the lunch lady. Try Puerto Vallarta if you want some good Mexican food.

Good customer service. The chips and salad were good. But my quesadillas and wet burrito and taco salad were jus okay. The food aint all that, pretty average. For what they charge is not worth it should of just made it at home

Ok place to eat. Always busy but sometimes you get list in the shuffle. Mangers here need to make it around to the tables more. The Portage location is always a pleasant dining experience... I recommend you go there.
