Went here with a party of four who tried many different items. One of my party found 5 dirty dishes on the clean pile, the "waitress" waited until we had a leaning tower of Pisa of dishes before picking them up and dropping half of the uneaten food directly on the table and then promptly forgot about it. They cant even spell what kinds of foods they have available. Under the "steak" section which of course does not actually serve steak are emblazoned the immortal words "Dinvnr Buffl" which is American for really crappy food. Which brings us not coincidentally to the quality of the food at the establishment. I wasnt expecting Gordon Ramsay faire but this food has so much salt as to melt an army of slugs on one plate. Salt of course is what one would use to preserve otherwise rancid food under heat lamps. Everything from fried chicken to sweet potatoes tasted completely like it had gone off decades ago but the biggest offender of all had to be the "strawberries" that they kept by their unholy idol to gluttony itself: the chocolate waterfall aka the abomination of American cuisine. The strawberries were in quotes because they looked more like something dredged out of a sewer, which gave their purpose of being put under a chocolate water an even more insidious meaning. The only item that was actually rather good were the dinner rolls. They had two different types and both were quite good. So if you are looking to spend quality time with dying old men and women who shovel food into their mouths with empty eyes and if you are looking for a place to eat a buffet of dinner rolls the Golden Corral in Richmond cannot come more highly recommended.

I would give Golden Corral a 5 star rating but they have jacked their prices up a lot since they came to Richmond, there are lots of places in this area they have way cheaper prices and the food is just as good,,,drop your prices Golden Corral or have some really good weekly specials,, and you have a server that shouldnt be a server, I come to a place to enjoy my meal, not to have a server literally stick her body parts on me to get a tip,,wrong way to get a tip from me, I tip based on your pleasant attitude and good friendly service,, Im not sure where you got this girl but she doesnt belong in a restaurant setting !

My family was having a night out and all I wanted to do was relax and eat. The server made me get drinks for myself and my family and I also had to ask the manager to clear the table for us. I have worked in customer service for over 15 years and a 3rd of that was being a waitress. I have never been treated so terribly. I felt so bad that my husband and children had to watch me get them and me our own drinks. While I was out, they expected me to sit and just relax for a measly 30 to 45 minutes and I didnt get that. If Tiara was a good server, she certainly didnt show it tonight.

i went there today 10/18/16 after work with a co coworker and got the steak and was very unhappy, asked for it to be medium and it was burnt black and very well done. other people in the room was asking for any steak that wasnt burnt. our server nancy was very nice and helpful she called the manger over they all left to resolve the problem but i left a tip on the table and went on my way. the food was very under par and wont be back..

This place was horrid!! The Manager is the most stuck up person I think Ive ever encountered she was very monotone didnt smile or anything and actually acted like we a bother to her by coming in, the place looked like it needed an update or cleaning! Food was very cheap with little to no flavor Richmond needs a better buffet than this for sure cause they can keep their crap for the expensive prices.

This visit was horrible. Tables were dirty, never had a server come by to see if we needed anything and if you sit there and look around at the chairs. They are so discussing. They are so dirty. Instead of standing around they need to take a few of these chairs at a time and clean them. Not sure if we will revisit this one again.

Tried to make a reservation for our family and got the run-around that if we show up they will TRY to seat us as close together as they can. Would not promise an area in the banquet room for our 20+ family. Staff is nice but management isnt.

This is a great place to get buffet style food. The food is fresh and tastes great! I will give only 4 stars because I have seen food on some of the “clean” plates. Just be careful when getting your plate and make sure it’s clean.

Its a buffet. Quantity over quality. Unless they are having their prime rib special, its a little over-priced. While definitely more expensive, the buffet at the Rivers Casino is far more appealing and I think a better deal.

This was by far the worst Golden corral Id ever been to the wait staff basically ignored me and my wife the manager was very rude when we arrived and had a horrible attitude towards us needless to say I will NEVER return...

The experience was fairly good. We had a waiter that was on top of thins. How ever the person that was working the dessert area was very unpleasant and was throwing cotton candy at people that were asking for it.
