We loved champs. We have been going for awhile now. Nice bar, clean and food good and beer was cold. Waitress were very friendly and nice. But tonight the bartender was very loud when we walked in and wanted us to come right up and sit at the bar and get a drink . Then he said unless u want to wait on a waitress. We said we are eating and wanted to sit in the booth we usually sat in. It was like he wanted us to sit at bar and spend money and tip him maybe instead of waitress. Was weird. Bartender has never talked to us before. My son and I played some pull tabs after we ate and my son went up to cash his in and gave to the bartender. He won $10 on one and $1 on 2, total of $12. Bartender cashed them out and only gave my son $7 back. My son said you still owe me $5. Bartender got loud and started yelling at my son and called him a liar. My son said sounds like you are drunk and walked away and came and told us what happened. Waitress then came over and apologize and was almost in tears and said I saw the ticket it was $10 win and my husband and I both saw it too. WE WILL NOT BE BACK AS LONG AS THAT BARTENDER IS WORKING THERE. IT IS TOO BAD BECAUSE THE OWNERS ARE GOING TO LOSE ALOT OF GOOD CUSTOMERS BECAUSE OF HIM.

The worst bar experience Ive had in Muncie hands down...and I have been to Dill Street before they torn the STD infected building down. Bartender was loud and obnoxious. Had a hard time determining whether he was hammered or just plain stupid. Upon watching him smash his own poorly created Bloody Mary at 10pm, I realized he was both. Beer was cheap, but the Bartender was so hammered by the time we closed our tab that he brought us another beer against our request to close out, and proceeded to charge us for 2 extra beers. When I asked him to take a beer off the tab, he drunkingly asked if we wanted another beer. When I told him no we wanted it removed he just told us to not leave him a tip and left it on. If you are going to run a successful bar, dont dabble in your own product sir. I have driven past this place a hundred times, and rest assured I wont be stopping by any time soon. If I want to pay money to a local drunk Ill drop a $20 bill outside the local Village Pantry.

Honestly, the booze is fairly cheap. You will gey drinks at a good price (eventually) but if youre under the age of 50 dont expect anyone to pay attention to you. Bartenders only care about flirting with the old fogeys. This would have been fine but I went there to watch a damn NFL game and they had us moving seats 4 times because they kept changing the channels. Apparently the owner "wants the TVs set a certain way" which surprised me because she was very clearly drunk and kept changing channels the whole time we were there. Absolutely frustrating. Took forever to get drinks or our check because, again, we werent in their preferred "senior citizen" demographic. I will not be back.

Stay away from the one with purple hair. Unnecessarily rude. Tries to claim she was "just messing with you" bur is the WORST bartender Ive ever seen. People in Chicago are nicer than she is. I never give 1 star reviews, so that should say something.

This bar is so affordable and the staff are really friendly. Ashley really tries to make sure everyone is taken care of. I recommend the BBQ Nachos: they were phenomenal.
