I had the worse experience at houligans than Ive had at any other bar in my life last night. A couple friends and I decided to check out Houligans after hearing it was a bar that was open late. I remember being ignored by the bartenders, and two fights broke out. I know that the fights is beyond their control, but the way they responded was horrible and extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. The staff started screaming at the rest of the patrons (that wasnt fighting or involved) to get the F out of their bar because their closing. My friends and I were standing in the parking lot bidding our farewells, when their staff came out and started screaming from the door "Get the F out of our parking lot, what the F are you still standing here for". I can tell that they really dont accept patrons of the darker persuasion. I will never return to this God awful place again

I dont know what these other people are saying. The place is a private club bar. And Im sorry I highly doubt there was any racial hate in this place. I was well treated and respected. Of all the bars in dothan this places is one of the oldest bars in dothan. If it was a bad place then why is it still open. Think about it. Dont cry at Google because you didnt like someone grow up and move on. I may be a new patron at this place I plan on being there for til the doors fall down. I encourage everyone to come see this bar and decide for yourselves. I can say me and the other patrons welcome you.

Nate has probably the greatest beard in the world and smells just like homemade cabbage. Since Baby Josh got a hair cut, it finally feels good to run the back of his head as he gives me a reach around!! That Grocery Store Bouncer doesnt even look like he could bounce the pretty girl who couldnt get free drinks and leave a bad review. But really this is the greatest place to let loose and have a good time!!! Good friends, great atmosphere and amazing memories in this hole in the wall of Dothan Alabama. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Houligans is my favorite after work sport to wet the old gingerly carpeted whistle. Great bartenders, great atmosphere, and that Josh guy has a really decent haircut to justify not being as cool as Bo or Nate.

Its a decent rendition of a pub. Requires a membership due to its late hours. Pretty simple sign up though, and its free. Very dark bar, but the back pool room is well lit. Drinks are good.
