I really wanted to like this place, in fact, I was the one to suggest it to our group. Unfortunately... the prices were high, the food was bland, the ice cream was mediocre, and the service was lacking. We spent $50 for four people with no baskets, two people sharing ice cream, only two drinks, and no tomato which costs extra. When we got our order, one of our sandwiches did not come out plain as requested. One of us sat in line to exchange the sandwich just for the cook to intervene with the cashier asking to see the receipt that he didnt have on him. (The sandwich was listed as plain) Then they simply took it back, pulled off the extra and put a new bun on it, then wrapped it in the same mustard-covered wrapper it was in initially. Did I mention that there was nobody waiting in line behind him? We accepted the sandwich as is since the rest of the tasteless food was getting cold by this time. Another in our group went to get a drink refill in which he was charged the full price of the drink for. Since I have always worked a customer service type of job, I felt that I should at least ask for some sort of compensation for the condition of the sandwich, and the horrible service we had received. I politely explained the situation to the cashier and asked if itd be possible that we receive free cones for our trouble. She looked warily at me and said, "We told them to bring the sandwich back if it wasnt okay." Im sure I said it with a sigh but I explained that I can handle some mustard smeared on the bun if my alternative is to not eat with my group. She reluctantly gave me a "baby cone". A vanilla cone barely raised above the cone. What a slap in the face. Im sorry, Lindy Freeze. We have a few ice cream places near home that blow this one out of the water. Places where youre greeted with smiles and good food; this isnt one of those places.

A local ice cream and fair food stand that is a hit with locals and attracts a fair amount of traffic due to its location on US 231. Good breaded tenderloins and plentiful settings of fried mushrooms along with delicious hard ice cream and milkshakes. Definitely worth a stop!

WOW I cant believe no one has written a review.... We have been going here since it opened :) Was my Dads favorite STOP point...even if it was "out of the way" lol I even hooked my grandson (4th generation) up one evening on the way home from CVille!

Nice little ice cream treat place with fast food fare. They finally started taking credit cards after what seemed like 20 years of cash only. They have also increased their menu greatly in the past couple of years.

Today was our first time to stop and enjoy the excellent pork tenderloin and cheese burger both topped with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. The cooking and preparation of the sandwiches were outstanding.
