I work out of town a lot and like to go to national brand restaurants expecting the same great service and food. I have nothing but praise for the food as always. Consistent with the chain that it is, good food, good price, and good atmosphere. Unfortunately this Fridays needs a serious upgrade with the servers. Upon arriving and seating ourselves we were greeted by ANTEL, our server. He asked for our orders (3 people) and we all started with "Endless Apps" and drinks. He mumbled something about us being "gluttons" and left. We waited 10 minutes for our drinks as he took care of others who arrived after us and served them their drinks. After the first round and food, the second round took longer, 25 minutes. I had to say something and complained. Next server, basically the same treatment. They were not busy, they were not swamped. Just unprofessional. Self centered. Self righteous. Finally, after searching around, I found DREW, someone who I saw working, caring about Fridays customers, a "person" Ive seen at many other Fridays. He finished with us the rest of the night. Very good service, table service, courteous, and attentive. Id give five stars to DREW. THANK YOU DREW for pulling a bad night into a decent time. Antel, get retrained. Antel, get manors. Antel, lose the attitude. Antel, go back to McDonalds.

Sat at the bar. Waited for service. Waited and waited. The bar back , even though he was off the clock, took the time to give us menus and get our drinks. The bartender, who was more worried about one of the women at the bar and hooking up with her, ignored us. When he finally decided to take our order, he didnt check on our food for 25 minutes. Needless to say, food was cold. Than we waited over 10 minutes for our bill and to go box. The gentleman working the waitress window assisted us. I laid my credit card down and the bartender did not come back for it. So I pulled out cash. I left the bartender 33 cents, walked over to the bar back who was rolling silverware at a side table and handed him a tip and told him thank you. Funny thing was...the bartender was standing there talking to the bar back. TGIF is my favorite restaraunt...however, this is the worst service Ive ever recieved.i waited tables and bartender for 20 years, there is no excuse for the way this bartender treated us. Extremely disappointed!

I went out to eat with my parents for endless apps. We were seated right away, BUT it took at the very least 20 minutes to be greeted by our waitress for the night! Finally after 1,000 apologies and excuses later our food came out, well some of it anyway. My parents received both appetizers they ordered and I had not. Our waitress said it would be right out a and what do ya know another 45 minutes passed and she came to take an order for a second round , keep in mind I still had not received my first! I brought this to her attention and she said she would bring it out right away and for me to order a second round anyway, so I did. Well my parents had had enough of this so we spoke to the manager before our second round came out . Long story short terrible service and by the time we left we had a coupon in our hands and I had not eatin anything ! So I could say that I had a bad expierience but would it even be considered an expierience if I never got any food ?!

Currently sitting here at Fridays off 38th. My fiance and I walk in to go seat ourselves in the bar. EVERY TABLE and the whole bar are filled with dirty dishes, leftover food, etc. No one came to check i n with us nor clear a table off for us. Luckily, we found a table that was not cluttered. 10 minutes later, two sets of customers came in...same experience, except the first set went to the diner seating and the other customer sat down at a dirty bar. There was one bartender servicing the area, however there were two employees standing around not doing anything. One was on his phone and went to the back. It just took entirely too long for the disastrous bar area to be cleaned. Serviced has always been shakey here. Please do better!!!

Horrible!!! Called ahead to reserve a table for 16, told it would be an hour. Got there to be told they do not do reservations! On top of that our 30 minute wait became an hour wait! Arrived at 10 to be seated at 11:20, after being told they couldnt find a server who wanted to make a $50 plus dollar tip. Was celebrating not 1 but 3 high school graduates!!! Finally got out of there at around 12:45pm after waiting another 45 plus minutes to get our food. If you have nothing but time and want cold food and excuses as to why the seevice is "crappy" per management. Then this is the place to go! Server was nice and professional. Management could take a lesson from her!

family and I have been there twice and service was TERRIBLE both times. Took waitress 5 minutes to approach our table as she was just talking to the bus boy. Forgot our salads.... Dressing was supposed to be on the side.... Wasnt. Once she delivered an item, she was gone. It was crazy how fast she came to clean up table the up after we got the check though. She made 3 trips quickly. Only reason Im giving a 2 instead of a 1 , is the was good. So good job cooks... Service= god aweful. EDIT: I forgot to mention. I am very understanding if the place was busy.... But it wasnt. Very disappointing. Wont go back.

Customers are an interruption at this restaurant. Hostess slow to greet even though not busy. Music very loud. Waitress fast and friendly but didnt ask if I was a stripes member, other employees often standing around talking. Waitresses texting in kitchen, employees sitting in the dining room showing each other their phones in front of manager, who said theyre off duty, yet one keeps getting up to seat customers - working unpaid or...? Fortunately our waitress was one of the few actually working. My food was good but my companions was so bad that our whole ticket was cancelled by the manager.

I cant blame the server for the manager ruining my time at Fridays. I ordered the 3 piece appetizer which would consist of wings, boneless wings and patotoe skins. Although the menu says I can pick ANY three items in the section the manager said I was not able to get what I asked for. He said he runs this store and that that was not something he would allow, even through thats not what the menu advertised. Maybe he was having a bad day but if you are in customer service you should be nicer to the people that spending their money at your resturant or take a personal day and stay home.

Karissa was our waitress...started out good...got a stella...my wife got water...but after we got our appetizer...we didnt see our waitress at our table for a loooong time...she was at the tables to our right and left plenty of times...with this,that and the other....I ran out of beer for quite a while...I get that our food may take a few...but how about.."would you like another beer sir?".....finally when our continued appetizer came out..we got it to go...we got there at 830 and left at 10 15.......fit to be tied....this is the one on West 38th street on the west side...
