Fantastic place. Im always a fan of local digs rather than national chains. Ive been coming here for years, but with that said its been awhile. Nothing has changed and that makes me happy. You have the choice of dinning room or bar for seating. Lots of places to sit, so usually not a long wait at all. Once seated our server was immediately there to take our drink order. To give us time to browse over the menu we started with the BBQ nachos. We opted for the regular instead of deluxe with lettuce, & onion. They have three sauce options: Sweet, hot, or mixed. For the nachos we went with sweet. When they came out it made my heart happy. They had real melted cheese (not that liquid nacho stuff) drenched in BBQ and pulled pork. So yummy...in fact I enjoyed them so much that Im now sad theyre gone. For my main lunch dish I went with the Squealers Favorite. Pulled pork sandwich topped with coleslaw. For the sauce this time I went with the mixed. For a small up charge I changed the chips out for onion rings. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time and it was delicious. The mixed sauce was spicier than I expected but still likes it. Nothing wrong with a little kick. The onion rings were tasty too. Our drinks never went empty and our server was nice and had a nice personality. For dessert we went with pumpkin cheesecake. It was tasty.

So, I arrived and the place wasnt particularly busy. There were open booths and tables, but the manager told the hostess she couldnt seat us anywhere because the waitresses were overwhelmed. So, we had to sit and wait. Our waitress was pleasant and took our orders, but it took forever for our food to come out. We had waited for our food for quite awhile when our waitress came back to report that they were out of one of the sides we ordered which is no big deal, but then moments later she reported that they were out of another side. Which is still understandable, but it would have been nice if the kitchen informed her of that beforehand. Then, when my water was refilled it ended up having a straw wrapper poured into it from the pitcher that wasnt mine. I found it when I sucked it up through my straw which was pretty icky. While we were waiting we also saw the manager sniping at a waitress while she was trying to take an order and another waitress that carried drinks with her fingers inside of the customers drinks. So, our food finally came and it was fine. There was nothing wrong with my turkey or pulled pork, but to me nothing was the great. I liked my Carolina red sauce and my dining companion was a fan of the biscuits, but those two things were not enough to save the trip.

Bad. Bad. Bad. If there were zero stars I would rate zero. Went there to celebrate a birthday. This was a complete and perfect storm of terrible. Sat down at 7:30 and by 9:00 only 2 of our party had food. It took another half hour to get most of the other dinners. The servers had no idea who ordered what. They stood in the middle of the restaurant and called out dinners. One person ordered a ribeye and was presented with a sirloin. At that point we were so hungry that we didnt care that all of the orders were wrong. Most of the servers were rude, but there was one that tried to help. The food was terrible. The ribs were fatty, the food wasnt even warm. I wish that we had a good experience....but this was the worst dining experience of my life. Dont make the same mistake. Stay away.

Ive been eating at Squealers for many years, since before they opened the Indy location. In the past couple of years, they have raised their prices substantially (far beyond the rate of inflation) and their portions have gradually become smaller. Food is still good, but the price increases have gotten out of hand. Just recently, their price for a glass of Indiana Amber (a local brew) nearly doubled to $6. Similar local brews at comparable restaurants in the area range from $4.25 to $5. My bill for the same meal has gone up about 20% in the past two years, which is way over the top. The food and ambience do not support their current prices, and I will be going there less frequently in the future.

What a fiasco. I imagine if our server could keep herself out on the floor, it would not have taken us an hour and 45 minutes to eat here. From incorrectly cooked steak and a cook some more and still not be medium well to how about I ordered mushrooms and onions with that steak and they never showed up to the table. The iced tea is like drinking water with a bad taste. Knowing that your customers food had a problem and then the customer having to ask not to pay for the food they couldnt eat, is poor customer service. This place was aweful. My husbands birthday dinner turned out to be pretty dismal.

I have gone to this location too many times to count. Ive gotten both carry out and dine in. I have always had good experiences at this location. Tonight I did not have a pleasant experience, which I do not want to go into detail about because the management was excellent. Before a manager came over to talk to my family and I, I was livid but once the manager left the table I ended up being happy with how she handled the situation. Before management got involved I was not sure i would return to this location but now I am sure I will remain a return customer. I would recommend this location to anyone!

The worst rib tips and wings Ive ever had! When I ordered the rib tips, they were dry and seemed to be old. The manager was very nice and he gave me a credit to get something else. I went back a few days later and ordered the wings. The sauce was really good, but the wings appeared to be burnt and they poured the sauce over it to mask the taste! I was excited to try this place, but after this experience, I wont be back! :(

always a fan of the food... but the overall experience is ruined because their service sucks so bad! first tym i was hoping a one off. second, third time around is true consistency. just terrible service. had to wait about 10 mins to get someone to ask if we could be seated. another 20 to get a waiter. then another 30 to get the food. this is pre-made food on an empty place. just disappointing service!

I have been here many, many times since I started working near here around 8 years ago. The BBQ is delicious. The staff is always attentive and friendly. Managers are always on the floor and visible. The atmosphere is pleasant. I usually like to get their pulled pork dinner and some fried pickles. The pickles are uniquely thick and flavorful. If you like fried pickles, they are a must try!

WORSE PLACE I EVER ATE! Meat was uncooked and really old on our prime rib sandwichs to the point you could smell it was bad after being cooked. service was quick but there was only 8 people in the place. They didnt even cook the fries well. Atmosphere was like dining at a low end bar. I will never go there again! The greeter was ignorant and annoying. Place was not very clean either.
