This was one of the worst pizza/pasta places Ive ever been to. Even for Indianapolis, this was bad pizza! I had the honey marinated chicken pizza with red and yellow pepper...it was dry and tasted like vinegar on bread! The chicken was extremely dry and tasted like it had been frozen for over a year. I had a side of fettuchini alfredo and the noodles were like cheap paper thin broth noodles...cheaper than Ramen noodles! It might as well have been! The alfredo sauce was very runny, like thick milk, and it tasted horribly. The waitress never came back to check on our waters, or questioned why I didnt eat any of my meal. I told her it was bad, and she just smiled and shrugged her shoulders. I should have known just by the looks of pulling up to this older strip mall with this hole-in-the-wall pizza joint. I cant believe there are actually some people out there who like this place. They must never have had good pizza. If youre a pizza or pasta snob, STEER AWAY!

Some Guys is an outstanding restaurant. In addition to a very large selection of suggested pies, you can design your own from a large selection of crusts, toppings, and sauces. Some of the toppings are a bit pricier than others. There is a great selection of pasta and salads as well. The atmosphere is very warm and homey. The dining area is shaded during the day, so it is never very bright. The staff has always been VERY helpful and courteous. If there is something you want that is not on the menu, ask! Odds are, theyve got the ingredients sitting around in the back and will be happy to make it. There is a modest waiting area with about 6-8 tables with stools in the entryway. Sometimes there is live music here (typically something relaxing). There are a couple of beers on tap and a small wine selection. Whatever you order, get a SMALL dinner salad. Theyre terrific.

This place is a gem known only to those with good taste. I highly recommend! Try the side-dinner-salads, any pasta or lasagna, specialty pizzas of all sorts... from meat loving to vegetarian stuff... All good. Staff hardly changes due to the reliably good atmosphere and a cult following among foodies, artists, and musicians around the city. Some Sundays you can get lasagna and their terimasu is to die for. Also, they source their carrot cake and wont tell who it is... but its the best Ive ever had in my life. Both owners (Keith & Nancy) are separated now but they still keep close tabs on the 2 locations and are a pleasure to work for.... making the food here even better. Also, the place has a dark theme / atmosphere... but the back of the house is very clean and properly operated at both locations. A good thing to know for those that care.

I expected more from the pizza joint after the hearing about it and reading about it in Nuvo. So I decided to put them to the test. What I am looking for is a real Neapolitan pizza or reasonably NY style or something ... Since they have a woodburning oven and rave reviews I was real hopefull. When evaluating a pizza style just order a plain cheese pizza. I put some Guys to the test. The sauce had a strong taste of garlic. The crust was very brown but not charred. To me the plain cheese pizza tasted odd, the cheese was strong and complex, I think its a mix of cheese. The pizza probably would have been great if I had ordered one of their "gourmet" pizza or something else since those pizzas probably balance out the basic pizza. Definitely not a NY, or anything close to Real Italian pizza in Naples!

I had never heard of Some Guys Pizza until I moved right near Allisonville. As I was driving along trying to map stores in my area, I saw it. To me, it seemed rather strange and possibly a waste of time. At first I figured the pizza would be cheap, soggy, and similar to Pizza Hut. A friend and I ventured in there one night since they stay open pretty late. The decor is awesome. Low key and simple. The lights are low and welcoming. The pizza, I had regular crust, was thick, yet crispy. My mushrooms (vegetarian) were moist and cooked, not dried out or straight from a can. I must say, I was really impressed, and certainly plan on going back. Plus...they have drinks, it makes for a nice hang out. And dont forget to visit the Time Out Lounge right next door!

What a treat! I stopped here with some friends after a full days work. We ordered the salad with shrimp, a buffalo chicken pizza, and a pepperoni pizza with their homemade pepperoni. Although the nostalgia of a small family pizza place making their own pepperoni is great I have to admit I liked the flavors of the buffalo chicken better. The salad was good but didnt seem to be their specialty, at least not the night I was there. I will definitely be back for the pizza. I heard they do a lasagna one a month maybe that is to die for and the line goes out the door and they sell out quick! Sounds like an awesome challenge to see if I can get a piece. Maybe thats when I will visit next!

BEST B-BQ CHICKEN PIZZA EVER! man I am in love with that stuff, best pizza I have ever had. there salads and dressings are also homemade and surprisingly really good. they have added some new pizzas recently but i would stay away from those until they fix some of those new ones up, otherwise its a great place to get a delicious pizza.

I ordered take out from Some Guys for the first time. It cost 15$ for a medium pizza. I would say it wasnt worth the money. The dough is dry and tasteless. The toppings are ok but lacking quality for the price, also the overall flavor is bland. I was disappointed after reading the reviews but not everybody knows good food!

Had their food once before, it was pretty good... the service I received today along with a couple of other days has forever turned me away from them. I called and asked if they were still open, a lady picks up and says, we closed early, and just hangs up the phone... very rude, very... Ill never go back

The wood-fired pizza is just alright, but the regular pizza, pasta, and appetizers are all great. Accomodating staff. Surprisingly good atmosphere, didnt expect it when we went in the first time. Greeks was my favorite pizza but now that theyve closed Some Guys is my favorite, a bit better than Bazbeaux.

Just passing through on our way home, Some Guys came up on a desperate search for food. It was excellent! The service was great, the ingredients and how they were put together were superb, and the portions were generous. In the future, well drive an hour into Indy just to eat here again!

Excellent pizza! I had the BBQ Chicken pizza and it was awesome! Plenty of toppings, I mean there were a lot of toppings, and cooked just right. It was perfect and I hope they never change how they make it. And I had a side of Garlic Bread w/ Cheese and it was perfect too. Ill be back!

Small, cozy place with good service. Pizzas can be ordered as an individual size and are quite savory. They have a pizza oven, too, and its aroma hits you as you walk in the door. Also good are pasta dishes (you can choose your pasta and sauce), breads, and salads.
