Avg food. Almost Cafeteria-style eating. Great service. Seemed to be a good family place for kids. Similar to El Rodeo but the food wasnt quite as good (Puerto Vallarta Fajitas). Not really an intimate location, more fast moving with lots of tables/guests (Cazuelas or Cancun). Does not compare well to some other Indy restaurants food-wise (certainly no El Sol), but the service is spot-on.

We have been dining at Puerto Vallarta for several years...sometimes 2-3 times a week. The staff and service is fantastic. While we still enjoy eating there, I think the quality of the food has declined. Fajita meat should not have grissle or fat. But the prices are fair and the margaritas are good. Ask for Antonio or Anastacio and youll be well served!

My friend and I used to go here to eat every single Friday night. The food was great and the prices were very reasonable. Over time the prices kept going up and the food quality kept going down. It was not one visit but every week for months, the food was just not what it used to be. Eventually, we quit going here all together.

We visit this restaurant regularly and think so much of this place. We get margaritas with lime juice and sprite (dont care for sour) and they are always yummy! The chili poblanos are the best ever, along with several menu items. Friendly and affordable!

Fast service. In and out in less than an hour for lunch. Food was great. Server was attentive to our needs and let us be when we no longer needed anything. Had many people in the dining area and was pleasantly surprised by the quick service.

Terrible service. Waiters not personable, never asked how food was, would we like another drink, never a thank you. Food mediocre at best. Los Rancheros at 71st and Georgetown beats this place hands down for this type of Mexican restaurant.

The food was so good!! We went on a Saturday night it was really busy. The service was under park but I believe that was because of how busy busy they were I do not suggest going g if your in a hurry or hungry alreadt .

The chile rellenos (cheese stuffed poblano pepper battered and fried) was great, as was the chile verde (braised pork in a tomatillo sauce). The marguerita was a little lackluster as if their sour mix was too thin.

Best Mexican restaurant around! Our family goes every few weeks and are always treated like "VIPs" by Anastasio. Excellent queso, great fajitas and THE BEST rice ever! LOVE IT!
