I dont know where all these great reviews are coming from. I grew up in Corpus Christi, TX. where you can get amazing mexican food on every other corner. I got takeout from this place yesterday and it was terrible. I ordered the carnitas which Ive had at every mexican restaurant in the lower half of Indy and Greenwood. What I got was a sad facsimile of pulled pork, not carnitas, overcooked white rice and something that resembled salad. "...the best mexican restaurant in central Indiana..."? Even the chips and salsa are terrible. El Meson and El Azabache both beat this place to death, for quality and price! But if you really want the goods, try Tienda Morelos. No fancy dining atmosphere, but the food is all amazing. Over the past couple years Ive eaten at Fiesta Ranchera several times, each time disappointed, but this was the worst. Those of you who are impressed need to broaden your horizons and expose your palettes to some real flavor.

Would have rated ZERO stars, but youre required to give a least one, unfortunately. Im sorry to say I have been to this restaurant a few times since I live nearby. The visits were very infrequent. I have gone back because I keep hoping for improvement--they cant keep serving such crap and still be in business, can they? I am now totally convinced that any legitimate, positive reviews written about this restaurant are written by people who have never had a chance at tasting decent, authentic Mexican cuisine. The food is just awful. If you order ANY dish containing chicken Im certain it is all scooped from the same big pot of hard, tasteless meat with sauteed onions thrown in to make it look like they tried. Every chicken dish has the same, awful taste. Their sour cream is a runny bowl of spoiled white nastiness. The majority of the employees are not at all friendly. This place, literally, makes me sick.

There is no better Mexican Restaurant in Central Indiana... not just indy. Ive gone here for years, from the day they opened as a single teenager with my parents... to a just married husband... to a Dad with his family of four. Ive traveled to Mexico multiple times and this is authentic quality mexican food. For those that think of Mexican food as low quality... youve just been soured by nasty restaurants. Mexican chefs pride themselves on quality dishes and this place has always been top notch. If there is an award for mexican quisine, this place should get it. Ive had literally everything on the menu over all these years and never left dissapointed. Super fast service Super friendly staff High quality food Exceptionally affordable

Will NEVER eat here again. Been here 3 xs. But no more.. All 3 times Ive ordered my meal, my tacos ALWAYS laying in my beans. Why not place my tacos in my rice instead or on a chip to keep from getting soggy.. But NOT. Then today it took them 10 mins b4 coming to our table & aft food was delivered, i killed a cockroach on the wall. Showed it to server. Whom showed it to Manager. They only took off our bill, 1 entree & our queso cheese dip out of 3 adults & a child.. But i didnt complain for a free meal, i just paid & Ill NEVER return. 3 STRIKES Fiesta Ranchera, youve lost my business & Im spreading the word..

The food is always great. The service however can be fixed. Ive only had 2 servers that were kind. The rest have been rude and hateful when we tell them something wasnt done right. We had a server throw his hands in the air and call one of us a idiot and walk away while we were trying to explain what was wrong with our order. Hopefully, this server gets a talking to about how to treat paying customers, regulars at that. We will be back for the food, but not for the service.

This is my first time here with my husband. The food is excellent. We will definitely come back. We were seated immediately, chips and salsa were put down as we were sitting down. I ordered 2 tacos with rice and beans. Excellent flavor and burning hot plate. My husband ordered a taco and Chile relleno with rice and beans. He said it was the best relleno he ever tasted and the taco had excellent flavor and presentation.

This was my first time going to this place and I wasnt impressed. I ordered a quesadilla to play it safe, but they some how managed to mess that up. I ordered just a plain chicken and cheese quesadilla and somehow the cheese was substituted with beans. The only advice Id give to anyone looking for mexican food is to go as far away from this place as possible. This place was anything but a fiesta.

I live down the street from this place and I eat here a few times a month. I like it quite a bit. Its super cheap, super fast, and super tasty. I am sure there are better mexican places out there, but for the money this place is great. I LOVE their salsa, it tastes fresh made. Service has always been great too, only messed up my meal once in the year I have been going here.

Absolutely amazing. I have been coming to this restaurant for nearly 7 years. It has done nothing but improve since my first visit and thats a tall order to fill considering how good it was from day one. The staff is friendly, the environment is cozy, but most of all the food is incredible. Order off the House Specialties section of the menu, I havent been disappointed yet.

Burrito loco was good, cant say much about the rest. Cheese sauce for chips was so watered down it didnt even taste like cheese anymore. Service was mediocre but the waitress was nice. Will probably give it another chance to redeem themselves was a little busy so it could have played a part too. Not the worst place but definitely not the best.

I absolutely love this place. They are very nice and the food is great. We order out there alot since i work right down the road. I was convinced one day to try holy guacamole with everyone promising for it to be aaamazing and way better then any other Mexican restaurant, it was terrible compared to Fiesta Ranchera!!

Very good Mexican food. The place was literally full at 7:00pm on a Friday night but the service was still friendly and the food came out very fast. Prices are very reasonable and the drinks were flowing. The fajitas were excellent, and fish tacos and beef enchiladas were very good. I will definitely be back.

I received very poor service on 6/18 when I visited the location. I was told that I did not pay for one of the 6 orders that had been placed for my work, and when I produced 6 receipts was told the same thing repeatedly. I will not be going back as I dont appreciate being called a liar in public.

Awesome food! I eat too much of it! Even when you order a to go order they say 10 minutes its 10 minutes even with a big order!!!!!! For the people that give them a bad review how dear you? They have awesome service, and they can put up with me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Double charged our credit card for our meal..when I called for a manager they were on break or not there..and the woman answering the phone hung up on me multiple times that day..who knows how many people their servers overcharged for a higher tip..Horrible!
