I dont understand if all the other people posting reviews have never eaten Chinese at any other place before, but that has to be the reason that this place has a 4 star review. My girlfriend and I absolutely love eating Chinese food, and this place is the worst I have ever eaten. Believe me, I dont review anything really, but it was so bad all 3 times we tried it, that I couldnt help but to leave a review. Yes, their egg rolls were okay, but their chicken was hard, and over cooked, the pork was dry, and chewy, and the beef was terrible. We tried ordering different things every time, and every time we were disappointed more and more. Dont waste your time going here. We live less than a mile from here, and will gladly drive to any other Chinese restaurant. Its that bad. On top of terrible food, they had terrible service. An unbelievably long line, but only two people working each time. So if you want to wait too long, and get bad service, and even worse food, go ahead. But be warned, its gonna be disappointing.

but the service was good and the texture of the food was excellent just the flavor of the overall product was not but the service was good and I read the reviews and thought Id try this place. but to be honest I didnt enjoy my experience. the crab Rangoon tasted sour and the cheese inside was clumpy and tart. the egg rolls also tasted sour like the fry oil needed to be changed. also the egg rolls didnt have anything but cabbage inside. dont know if thats typical or not but they werent good. the generals chicken was ok the rice was over cooked ., a few hours after my meal I began to feel little bit nauseous. I would have given one star but the service was good and the texture of the food was great but the overall product was not.

Very friendly for starters! They always remember me no matter how long its been since my last visit. I originally started going here because it was close to my job and my boss suggested it. I tried the Singapore Chicken and was hooked. I love their eggrolls and homemade spicy mustard (beware its no sissy sauce). Even though I dont live or work that close I still make my way over here. Some people comment on the inside, yes it could use some remodeling, but HEY the food is fresh, hot and DEEEEEEEEEEELicious! My favorite is the Singapore Chicken, but the Chicken Fried Rice, Sweet and Sour Chicken, General Tsos and Beef w/Broccoli and Fabulous as well! Give it try :-)

Best Crab Rangoon in the city! Listen, if you dont like anything else, you will love the Crab Rangoon. I also find that the General Tso and The Sweet and Sour Chicken are pretty great too. Their Moo Goo Gai Pan is awesome too. Look, just try it, and if you dont like it, get something else. As far as the building goes, its old, and has been there since I can remember. Since I have lived in the area my entire life, we visit this place for any Chinese Food we may want. They are super nice and they remember your face. Not sure if that is a good or a bad thing. I guess good if we have been coming here for a long time. Worth the visit every time.

By far the best egg rolls anywhere! Im not a fan of rangoons, but all of my friends rave about them as the best they have ever had. While the building is obviously old and the neighborhood isnt the best, the facilities are clean and appear sanitary. The people behind the counter are always helpful, friendly and always have a smile on their face. My food hasnt always come out quickly, but its ALWAYS good and ALWAYS served with a smile (and with an apology when it does happen to take longer than expected). I cant say I have tried anything there that I havent liked.

Visiting Indiananapolis from Chicago and was looking for a nice family friendly Chinese restaurant; chose this because it was close to our location. This place was unkept and the meal tables were very small and uncomfortable. The portions of the fried rice are so small we had to order double just to be filled and we were still hungry. Again the portions are very small, but the price does not match the portion size. The eggrolls and crabragoon are ok, but I have had better. The service is about average. I would NOT recommend this place to a friend.

This is substandard Chinese food at best. I ordered some potstickers to go with my fried rice and the fryer in use didnt even make any noise as the cook dropped the frozen items into. After waiting for 20 minutes, I received my super greasy and fried solid potstickers and overcooked mushy fried rice. Avoid this restaurant at all costs. The only thing they are king of is horrible food.

Very nice service but the aesthetics of the place leaves something to be desired. Its kind of dirty on the inside and I think they own stock in a pepper and in cabbage because they use way too much. My fried rice is peppered fried rice and my egg roll is a cabbage roll. With some paint, a mop, and some pepper discretion this place would be a find for the area it serves.

They have a good lunch special; soup, fresh fried eggroll, main course with rice, and a fortune cookie all for 4.50 (plus tax). The sauces can be a little heavy on cornstarch or other thickener, but the veggies are perfectly done (still a bit of crunch, not mushy or soggy). If youre looking for a good cheap Chinese food option, this is a good spot.

Little hole in the wall Chinese joint. Was just in the city to get my trailer worked on. The guys at the shop told me about this place. Damn they were correct. I got Pad Thai here and it was some of the best I have had yet. I will definitely visit this place again. Great service nice people. Mom and pop Chinese places are hard to find these days!

Superb restaurant. Doesnt look the best on the outside but the food is made to order, always fast, fresh, hot, and very tasty. Portions are fairly big and prices are great! Been going here for years and it is some of the best Chinese food in the Indianapolis area. Highly recommended!

Had p.f. changs yesterday for dinner...the only difference was egg roll king didnt have fresh ginger in the food and it cost me 1/5 as much. Absolutely delicious. Do not intend to use the bathroom if you can help it. It is disgusting but delicious food. Will come back for sure!!

I get shrimp fried rice and an egg roll every week on my home from school. For months. I wouldnt do it if it wasnt good. My wife had the Soul Chicken and said it was really good as well. No complaints on food or service in all the time Ive been going.

Mediocre food. Nice and hot, but definitely wasnt great. The oil they used to make the sweet biscuits and potstickers tasted old and left a funky taste in your mouth afterwards. Aside from the oil taste though, the potstickers were pretty tasty.
