Impression: Great location that provides a nice space to have a casual lunch or dinner with friends/coworkers/business partners. Higher end burger joint that is nestled in the fun artsy area of Mass Ave Pros: Burgers are unique and mostly good. There is at least one burger that should satisfy each person in your party. Alcohol list is good, however its a burger joint, youll probably want to stick to beers vs wines. Cons: Milkshake is atrocious. When I say bad, its the worst milkshake i have EVER had and I tell everyone. Do not get this fakeshake. Way to expensive and its disgusting and melts in 3 seconds. Save your money and apply it towards an appetizer. Burgers are a bit greasy (like even the bread). They are good, but expect to have messy hands or use a fork. If you are trying to impress people with your eating skills, you will either fail miserably or shine like a master. Theres also always a wait, be sure to arrive ahead of your desired eating time. Sometimes its 15 minutes, sometimes an hour and a half. This is a popular location so plan accordingly. Conclusion: Its an ok burger location. Ive been there several times, and Im bored with it. I usually get the Provencal burger and its good.... but theres just not much variety... so there isnt much incentive for me to return. Friends typically want to go there and its fine, but Ive actually had better burgers for cheaper at locations close by that offer a much greater variety of burgers. That being said, the location Im alluding to is not as nice. This is a nice burger restaurant. Great for: small groups, casual dining, taking co-workers, dining on Mass Ave

I went here during labor day weekend with my lovely girlfriend. It was just about the only place open so as expected; it was very busy. I was very satisfied with this restaurant and will return again. For starters its located is in just about the most charming neighborhood in Indianapolis, perhaps in all of Indiana. We were told we had to wait 15 min which was expected but we were seated in less than 10. Our waiter was funny yet professional. I think his name was Troy. It had a very decent craft beer list. I got the Osiris and my girlfriend got a grapefruit shandy. We ordered the pretzel bread as an appetizer. It came with a spicy mustard and a cheese dip. Unfortunately, the cheese dip was runny and bland. The mustard was pretty good. Another plus was that the pretzel bread was not too salty or oily. We both got burgers and fries. Both were pretty good. Not the best but certainly not bad. The price seemed very fair. One final note was the music selection; it was great. about a quarter of the restaurant was singing which made for a nice atmosphere. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Not good. I was excited to try this place but it was a let down. First off it is 12 dollars for a typical burger or chicken sandwich. No fries included. You must pay 2$ more for fries or $3 more for rings. Then the only food the waiter recommended was a chicken sandwich and a salad which is ironic at a burger speciality place. I got a hot chicken which wasnt bad but for 13 dollars was surprisingly way inferior to a spicy chik fil a sandwich. My fiancé got a garlic three cheese burger. She got the burger medium. I came out so dry. It was the driest burger I have ever eaten, and I like burgers. There wasnt even a hint of pink to be seen. Anyway all Im saying is A&W is in the circle center mall a couple blocks away, and they are much better and much much cheaper. Also fries are included when you order a meal :)! Also chik fil a is in there so you can get much bigger chicken sandwiches lol.

Its SO SO Soooooooooo disappointing to find that the people who run / manage this place have NO moral ethic in the business! I feel bad for them... I went there because its recommended by a nice friend. After I made the order to go and paid the bill, they never came back to me. Having patiently waited for 40 minutes at the front door sitting area, I walked over the reception to check. Shockingly, the burger was packed and left at the back of the bar counter dont know for how long...... Well, it happens...... What can I say... Terrible things happened... the lady at the reception nicely told me they could cook a new set and promised me it would be very fast. 5 minutes later I got my burger, how cool! Its not fresh made....... Cant imagine what else they could do to your food...... Good luck!?

Im a burger connoisseur whos eaten burgers all over the world and this is place HANDS DOWN has the BEST burgers Ive ever had. Im not a giant fan of Indiana cuisine in general (I once had a hotel worker in Nashville IN recommend Pizza King which is the worst pizza this side of North Korea) but Bru Burger redeems the entire state. I get the GARLIC THREE CHEESE BURGER and every bite is bliss. Perfectly cooked and so juicy and flavorful that it doesnt even need ketchup, but I use it anyway because Bru Burger makes their own and its AWESOME. And how much does this trip to burger heaven cost? $10! Thats $5 less than a mediocre burger cost at Hard Rock Cafe 20 years ago. I now look for reasons to drive through Indianapolis. PLEASE COME TO CHICAGO!

had lunch here on 3-08-14 at the bar. the female bartender was a little unfriendly to us, like not wanting to take our order. a nice male waiter took our order. the salad came out and we waited for the remainder of our food, noticing that other people were getting their food who had come in after us. so i asked the the same lady would she check our order. she told me "this is a full restaurant and the food comes out in the order its placed." then she walked away. when the male waiter came by to check on us we asked him where our food was and he checked right away. because of this womans attitude, we will not be going back. the food was good and the manager comped us with two desert. but frankly its too little too late.

Food is alright. Their burgers are subpar, certainly not the best in the area. Each time Ive been here my fries have always been cold and dry, probably batch fried and kept under a heat lamp. A restaurant which wont even cook fries to order should not be charging $15 and up for a meal. Today I watched the bartender carelessly handle dirty glassware and pour beer without washing his hands. I saw a food runner snatch an onion ring off a plate before taking it out to her table. And last but not least, I had to ask the hostess to stop sweeping around my table as I ate. I called it quits when I could see the dust settle over my food - enough was enough. This restaurant is disgusting. Save your money and eat elsewhere.

Great burgers! The onion rings are crunchy and delicious. The chicken wings have a great sauce. Besides the basic cheeseburger, try the Mexican bbq, the bourbon glaze, or the blue cheese one (to start). For salads, I recommend you get the dressing on the side because they are very generous. To-go is pretty quick (picked up lunch for 6 in 15 min). Cool atmosphere, more hip than the relaxed Carmel location but Ive seen people of all walks of life here. Wait is a little too long at nights, but they can text or call you after you sign in so that you explore the nearby Mass Ave shops, like the toy store, Starbucks, or frozen treats.
