So obviously not a great experience! I will give the little credit due to Carey Tavern for their appetizers that our really pretty good but not good enough to deal with the service. The bar was very busy on a Friday night so waiting for drinks was to be expected. After waiting 30plus minutes for a server we went to the bar where the one bartender ignored us for another ten minutes! Awesome! After waiting too long for drinks my table asked to cash out. We were all charged for at least one extra drink. I flagged down the server and asked about my tab and she reluctantly took the two extra beers off. My friend at the table wasnt so lucky. He asked the server about his extra charges and got a nasty attitude from the her. She told him that if he ordered from the bar those drinks had been added as well. We never actually got served so that wasnt the case. My friend paid for two extra drinks because the server would not remove them from his tab! Aside from the service this place will leave your clothing and hair smelling like smoke. Their Friday night DJ is crude and played a few songs between all of the really loud country karaoke! Not a fun night.

We were just there on Tuesday Night, "Taco Night". This was a first time there. We just moved to the area. The server was great, although she was busy, she was still great! I wish I knew her name. I had the Tacos, which I loved. The food was Hot and Fresh, and the Beer was ice cold. Win win! I will be back. Loved the set up. I was welcomed in and taken care of like I was part of the fam. Thanks

-- It has a bar menu, but fryer grease clean, grill clean, and salads crispy. Tasted amazingly well. Bar tender was friendly. Drinks were not watered down. Lots of things to do. Multiple pool tables, dart boards, and golf. Lots of TVs to watch the game. Over 21 only and smoking is allowed.

It is not smoke free, but its also a bar... food is pretty good and its usually not too crowded. They have live music pretty often and lots of TVs to watch whatever games are on. If you dont mind smoke then its as good a place as any to get some food, grab a drink and hang out.

This place has an nice unique atmosphere to it. Most of the people who come here are regulars but everyone is welcoming here. The staff here is very polite and easygoing and the bar is very well kept I like how they have different events each night for the customers.

Carey Tavern is like a wet dream in my pants. Everytime I go there, the bar staff are scandalous clad. The women are beautiful, the only thing left to desire is the pretzel breads tip. Which u should get before you go home.

A comfy place with great servers. A tavern is what it is. If you dont like smoke and jukebox music go elsewhere. The food is solid and if you get to know folks then you will enjoy it. Sportstalk and nice atmoshere.
