This place is good at first until you get to know how things are done. All the sandwiches and salads are made ahead of time. Parking is a pain, especially when Greeks Pizza opens. The tables are so close together, you have to climb over people to get around. The husband thinks it is a market that happens to sell food. The wife thinks it is a restaurant that happens to have a market. They used to serve freshly brewed sweet and unsweetened tea. Then they just served unsweetened tea. Now, you have to buy bottled tea. Their dinners are even worse. They only served half a spring roll. The chicken and almost raw and had no flavor. The tart was so tough, you had to use your fork or knife like a chisel. For right now, it is something new a different in Westfield. When people realize they are paying $8 for ham placed on bread with a little Brie, and the chicken salad is dry and has flavor, people will start going elsewhere. The owners do not like to hear criticism so after posting this, I know they will not allow me in the restaurant. The only reason I did not give them one star, is the fact the the market has several good local products. If you want to get to the produce, you have to push your way through two table and the people sitting there.

Just spent 10.00 on the most boring sandwich - Ham and Brie - and that was literally all that was on it - Fairly thick slices of ham with brie cheese, on a roll - thats it. I see now the menu says mustard or mayo upon request - it would have been nice if they had asked. I was the only customer in the place so we cant say they were too busy to ask or to be friendly. This was to go so it was too late by the time I got to work and opened the container. I did not receive the chips that the menu indicates. Ham and brie slapped on a roll and heated slightly.

his yet again proves that the "off the road" places is where culinary magic happens. The food from the Rail was an absolute 10. Theres just something about things that are made fresh from local sources. I cant wait to go back to have a full meal! The cheeses were awesome and the pickled apples by themselves could make life worth living. Im also a huge fan of Sugar Cream Pie and theirs puts Wicks to shame. Definitely will be taking out of town friends (and some local ones too) to eat here.

Excellent and uniquely prepared food, good portions on the entrees, friendly service from Jordan and other staff, enjoyed sitting outside on the patio. Very accommodating of GF diner. The menu is not extensive, the excellent preparation and quality is reflected in the prices. Appetizers (charcuterie board and smoked fish board) were wonderful but the amount of food on them was small for the price.

I really enjoyed everything about this restaurant. The location is great, the ambiance is enjoyable, and the food was delicious. Service was friendly but not invasive of my personal space. I enjoyed the small seasonal menu. I enjoy a good brewed iced tea, and theirs satisfied. The polenta I had for dinner was delicious and filling. Ill definitely be back again to try different items on the menu.

Rail is one of our favorite places to eat in Westfield. As soon as they went in, I had hope for fine dining and creative food choices in our community. Their menu is always changing and always delicious. They also have a very well curated selection of unique craft beers to choose from.

From my lunch experience, Rail has a strong repertoire regarding quality of the menu (the pastrami mostarda sandwich was surprisingly good and filling) and an above nominal selection of locally produced food goods as well. Very friendly staff and quite accommodating.

Very inviting atmosphere. The outside sitting is so nice on a cool night. Visited here with a friend last week and Jordan waited on us. We enjoyed the cheese plate, grilled nectarines, pork chop and succotash. I will be back for more delicious food.

Delicious farm to table food, the food here is to die for. This is one of our favorite spots in Westfield. The atmosphere is great and the architecture is just beautiful. They really did justice to this historical building.

Quaint spot located deep in the heart of old town Westfield. Seasonal menu that changes often. Killer cocktails! If you dont get Melanies chocolate cake with coffee after dinner, youve made a critical error.

Unique food coupled with nice staff that are as eccentric as the building. An indoor bar seats six and overlooks the kitchen. There are six outdoor tables, six more on the main floor, and even more upstairs.

Rail...please dont change a thing. Everytime we come, everything we order is just fantastic. The pork chop is to die for. 5 stars, trust me, try this place.
