I (white)and my husband (Mexican-Bi-lingual)and our 2 kids and our neighbor (Mexican)and 2 kids went to the Golden Corral yesterday on Wednesday 06/04/2014 at 12:30 pm together. A lot of other Hispanic Patrons and their families were also their that day. We witnessed and experienced MisTreatment by the General Manager DAVID SHERRIL to his Hispanic workers . 1 of which didnt understand English very well and was spoken to like a dog. The General MNGR was LOUD speaking and at a fast rate of speech in english with the Hispanic workers in FRONT of Patrons with a demeaning tone. We were upset by this and so was another Patron (white) whom we didnt know also was upset by this. ALL STAFF their SHOULD be TREATED WITH RESPECT AND DIGNITY !!! NOT like what we witnessed. If management has a problem with a staff member then it should be taken where the PATRONS dont see or hear AND the Staff SHOULD NOT be embarrassed in front of PATRONS either ! We proceeded to to talk to the (white)female management on duty and told her about this. She was understanding and very nice since she herself has family members who are Hispanic. She went to get David Sherrill since we wanted to talk to him. We told David Sherrill the General Manager what was witnessed and he DENIED everything and acted like we were all nuts ! When My husband and I and the other patron that we didnt know all had just witnessed. I asked him his name because at that time I didnt know it. The General Mnger said "David" while his head was cocked to the side as he said his name with an attitude to me , A Patron. So I cocked my head with an attitude also and asked "what is your last name ?" So I can talk to Corporate about how you MIStreat your Hispanic staff ? He cocked his head again with even more of an attitude and said "Its David Sherrill". He still was denying any wrong doing in front of us who witnessed it. If we hadnt seen and heard how he was with his Hispanic staff we wouldnt have been talking to management at all. WRONG IS WRONG !! If your Hispanic staff doesnt know English very well the key is to speak Slowly and Clearly and you will be understood . NOT talk to staff in a demeaning , loud tone in front of Patrons. We were very offended by David Sherrill-General Managers actions when speaking to us with such denial and attitude. ! We have no reason to lie but to stand up for hardworkers no matter race,color or religion. This disrupted what we thought was going to be a pleasant lunch. Instead turned out to be an offensive , upsetting, lunch that was topped off by the General Manager who has NO BUSINESS being in Management at all !! He obviously doesnt give a crap about his staff or patrons !! EEOC will be contacted as well from what we witnessed.. This General Manager Needs to be FIRED !! The Female management that worked that day needs to be PROMOTED! She handled it graciously and helped us with the info we needed. Now she is TRUE MANAGEMENT that actually CARES about her staff and patrons. We should get a refund due to we wont be returning to such a place with a Shi**y General Manager David Sherrill who is OBVIOUSLY RACIST !!

Our visit today was the worst weve had here. The food was OK, but it has become undeniable that their choice and variety is diminishing here. Theres a lot of canned food on the table. But OK, to keep the production cost low, you may do questionable things. I understand that. Then came the thing that really tore it. There was a quarter inch deep puddle of dirty-looking water 5 feet by 6 feet and spreading in the carpet on one side of the buffet steam table. Although it was early and business had not picked up a lot yet, the management apparently saw fit to address this issue, which limited access to part of the line, by just slapping down a yellow "caution wet floor" cone and going on like nothing was wrong. Meanwhile, an employee yelled across the space to other workers 15 feet away, "Whats leaking there? Whats leaking there!!??" Well Im glad at least one employee was concerned. I have taken the side of this establishment many times in the past against the smears of other people on the net, but this, I found hard to believe. This is not the Golden Corral of 5 years ago. Please, please, managers, do something to bring back that happy, clean, sane, orderly place we used to enjoy. This is probably our last-ever visit to this location. You just lost a couple of fans and advocates.

Three and a half stars. This restaurant is a pretty good comfort food option. Now the bad part: Management and staff, together, let the breakfast line run completely out of biscuits and pancakes when we were there last weekend during breakfast time. If youre advertising yourself as a breakfast option, this is pretty near inexcusable. I saw the leisurely, belated start of a griddle full of pancakes by a cook after wed been there for ten minutes. But that griddle of pancakes should have been started ten minutes before the line was totally out. I have no doubt the cook staff works hard, but their attention to detail and common sense judgment --such as when to begin preparations to replenish the line-- seems to be hurting. One review here uses that mean-anything/mean-nothing term "nasty" in referring to the dessert line. With that, I have to strongly disagree. What they have is similar to a small bake shop within the restaurant. The staff in the dessert section seems to have their act completely together. The food looks good, is presented well, and most of all tastes good, with no duds any of the times I have been here. Get on top of breakfast, and my three and a half stars could easily become a four or four and a half.

Live in lve. Drove to this one to get away from the rude belchers & unattended children.wrong, this one is the absolute worst.floor was a filthy mess, the buffet was gross (dirty) & out of all kinds of stuff.clearly like the others they are not going to enforce their "children should be accompanied by parent" policy.as I sat for 30 min.watching allthe kids finger & spill everything on the dessert bar.one child spilled ice cream on her shoe got napkins, wiped it off her shoe then layed the napkins on the dessret bar.we alerted a waitress who did nothing.last but not least even the chairs we sat in were sticky all over. Felt like taking a shower when we left. Needless to say I will never eat at any golden corral ever.damn shame too. I used to love this place.now theyre just the wal-mart of restaurants.

New Management, huh??? Seemed more like NO management. I felt like I had just taken my 11 year old daughter for dinner in a Prison Yard. The staff was completely unprofessional and seemed more interested in what was going on with their Social Media pages than taking our drink order. One employee came from the parking lot and pretended to rob the place. The floor, food stations, silerware, and staff were completely dirty. Half of the food was empty and the rest was scary. There were 2 good things about this place. The meatloaf and a waitress named Betty. Betty, I hope you dont have to deal with this situation much longer.

First of all the girl at the front desk who gives you your drink is RUDE told me that we didnt need a tray. Excuse me but how do you know what is good for me, I was told that I really dont need one. As we were eating an older couple came in with two kids. This poor lady dumped pop down the front of her blouse because her hands were full. In my opinion thats rudeness at its best. HOW THE HELL DO YOU KNOW WHAT ANYONE NEEDS. LOOK LITTLE GIRL IF YOU DONT WANT TO DEAL WITH THE PUBLIC THEN FIND ANOTHER JOB. ....OUR service other wise was wonderful
