Got a wicked steam burn on my right hand because one of the workers pulled a pan out and wasnt paying attention. I didnt pay for my meal, thats the only thing they did right. However, there is absolutely no management to talk with if you have any kind of issue. I was told that the "owner" was on vacation for 2 weeks, so I waited for 2 weeks and called about the burn. When I called, I was told "she usually comes in at 3:00." So I called at 3:00 and was told that "she just left." So I guess you could go ahead and eat there, just try not to have any type of issue. I had to run out and buy aloe for my hand and I felt that this place should reimburse me. I left my name and number and nobody has returned my call. The food? Dont go in right at 11:00 when they first open. Everything is still cold from being in the fridge all night. I suppose I should have put my burned hand into the cold food, maybe that would have helped. I will never return.

If you like dried up buffet food thats cold, rude staff, and dirty tables this is the place for you! I used to dine here a couple of times a month. Tonight I went in an hour before close, and we were refused service from the sushi bar and "hibachi." The staff was rude to every customer, and it was clear that everyone just wanted the customers to get out so they could leave. This would be understandable if it was one person coming in 5 minutes before close. I dont understand this attitude when 30 people are eating throughout the restaurant an hour before close. After thanking three staff members separately and having none of them acknowledged my presence I left. Thanks for all of the mediocre meals over the past few months. I wont come back, and Ill encourage others to stay away as well.

Oh, Mr. Hibachi... Hands down, the best buffet or Chinese I have ever had. Seriously...go check this place out. This place KNOWS how to run a buffet and is always amazing. If you use the online coupon (which they allow you to show them on a smartphone) its only about a buck more than every other decent Chinese buffet and WELL worth it. TONS to choose from... all the standards plus some ethnic dishes and you cant forget the hibachi grill and fresh made sushi. Our last visit they were out of a couple of items and I happened to ask if they were going to be making any more...not more than 5 minutes later, here she comes...two HEAPING plates of those items delivered right to our table. This place is a machine. Dont miss it.

As someone that used to be a regular, I will say in the past year they have changed their philosophy on how they treat customers. The wait staff now hand you your bill after your third or so plate and stays there asking for your payment until you cough up a card or cash, saying thanks and wishing you a good day. When they arent busy at all. Now, nothing will change with this review. The food is still okay. Probably not worth the $12. They are making as much money now as ever because of external factors. Its unfortunate. I used to go there to fill myself up until I wanted to die. Now, I have to just cry at home and watch anime. F***.

Are waitress took us to table and brought us drinks that is the last we seen of her. Four of them and no service. had to go ask at desk for refills. They were to occupied eating and playing on there phones. on the way out we ask were our waitress was, they said she was eating her dinner. she left the whole section hang to dry. we told them we were going to wright a review and not a good one, they laughed at us. also the diet coke i ordered was regular. the Broccoli was old and mushy. never going back. that was a bad choice for fourth of july early dinner. should of just cooked out a hot dog.

The waitress where talking in their language that we had left no tip... the very first time we ate there, when in fact we left $6 not $0 so it was very uncomfortable eating there, any longer. I did speak to the owner and told her about it, dont know the outcome but theyve lost 7 to 10 people crew eating lunch there. This i explained to the owner that the guys had no extra money and only left $6 funny thing was is that my problem got resolved like this... *** see photos*** and we were planning to compensate but they were extremely rude.

Went their on a Friday at 5:15pm. Lunch was over at 3pm but the food was still out. Everything was dried up..roast beef looked like beef jerky. Egg Drop soup was literally cold. Have been going there for years. Will never go back. When I asked to speak to a manager the girl at the register calls the manager on the phone and then proceeds to hand me the phone. Manager said she would give a discount. .turned out to be a 20% discount or about $1 off food that was unfit to eat. Will not waste my time there ever again.

I got very sick after visiting this restaurant just over a year ago. It might be because most of the food was not clearly labeled and I may have eaten some food I was allergic to even though I was trying to be very careful. The food was oddly laid out, different cuisines next to each other, little labeling, and little oversight to clean up after spills. The staff was okay but not very attentive. My partners have been there since and enjoyed it but given my experience I wont go back.

Okayish for once in a while when you get bored of everything else or just want to see looooooots of items in the buffet. Really great variety. If only their quality matched the variety. But it is probably too much to ask for this price. Fruits were fresh, some of the items tasted stale - especially ones made with dough. Service was horrible. The hostess of our table was kinda rude. Place is not that clean. Price: 5 Food variety: 5 Food taste: 3 Food Quality: 1 Service: 1 Ambiance: 2

Arrived 11:16am. Pleasantly surprised by selection. Beautiful delicious sushi; tried a bite of everything else hot except soups. All wonderful, bit different from any Chi buffet Ive experienced. Best I ever had and Ive been through dozens of these places. Delighted we got here while all was fresh, you should too if you can. Tip: dont load more than five minutes worth of food on any one plate IF you like your food warm, that door lets in a lot of cold air.

Ive been coming to this place for years and its always been outstanding. Some of the reviews regarding the service may be true, however I have not experienced this. And any reviews about the food being of poor quality is completly fictious, this may be the best Chinese buffet Ive ever been to. Mr. Hibachi has won several awards over the years for being one of the best restaraunts in Bloomington and it is a MUST everytime I am in town.
