Isabella is kind of a different restaurant in the Chicago Southwest Suburbs. But certainly worth visiting! Location: Isabella is located in main street / town square area of Tinley Park. It resides in, essentially, an old house. If you get one of the interior tables you can see the kitchen. This has a few perks and some drawbacks. It is cozy, and warm. The waiters can always see you and you can get their attention. The room however, for as romantic of a restaurant as it is, is very loud. It is hard to have a "Quiet Conversation" Food: This is a fine dining establishment and seems to have a limited menu night to night. On the night that we went we ordered the Stuffed Mushrooms appetizer. the mushrooms were very good, though we were left wanting a bit more. I got a steak which was cooked as I liked it. My wife got a piece of fish in a great sauce. Service: The Waiter was always attentive to our needs coming to refill our drinks on a consistent basis and was very pleasant in idle conversation. He was also helpful in assisting us in what to order. Overall, the food was good, the prices were about right (For Fine Dining) and the atmosphere was very romantic, if a little loud.

A little jewel of a restaurant. Food, service and ambiance is simply brilliant. My wife and I have been visiting this little restaurant for over a year now and have never been disappointed. The food is authentic, light and freshly made. Many Italian restaurant foods are heavy, greasy and at least partially come from a can. Not here at Isabellas! A true gem in a world of corporate junk/fast food restaurants. The restaurant is very small, a converted home actually, so reservations are recommended on Friday and Saturday evenings. Minus alcoholic drinks, a couple can eat for $40 or less...and its worth every penny!

This was my first time at Isabella Cafe and I thought that the atmosphere was very cute and was nicely decorated! I felt that the value was poor and our waiter hardly came over to our table. Also, they charged me for a side of butter! We also tried to make a reservation, but they told us that we couldnt. Yet when we were eating our dinner, they continued to let people make reservations, when they didnt let us. The salad was very watery and some of the spaghetti was uncooked! We also waited a long time for our food to be served and a really long time for our check! I would not go back to this restaurant!

Went there for my Dads birthday and let me say the food and the service where excellent , From the moment we walked in we felt at home everyone we came in contact with from the wait staff to the bus boys all had smiles on and where very attentive and the food is to die for there where 5 of us , there was not a bad thing to say about anything. P.S. Dad says get the Veal Parmesan its the best he has had in 40 years. Try this place out you wont be disappointed.

Extra charge, its a bit high . Ive a bad experienced , the owner guy , was very unprofessional & luck of ethics . I forgot a car key , we called to make sure , they got key. When i pick it up, the owner himself, instead of hand it to me, he instead hold the key up . It was like he was dealing with a little kid. I was upset & mad. So we quit going there.

The food and service are consistently great. I love the atmosphere of the little house in downtown Tinley Park. I feel so lucky to have such a fabulous place nearby where I can bring friends & visitors. You can always count on great food and even better wine. The desserts are yummy too! Do not hesitate to stop by for a wonderful evening!

Small and quiet restaurant. It is rarely busy which is one reason why I love it here. The staff is fantastic and you cant go wrong with anything on the menu. The calamari with diced garlic in the batter, the freshly made pasta in the cannelloni and the most amazing cannoli with raspberry sauce. You wont be disappointed.

I came here with my husband because of the generally favorable reviews. We found it overpriced and incredibly mediocre for said price. Seating area is echo-y, far from intimate. Wait staff wasnt very attentive. My food was a watery, bland mess. I never need to eat here again, and I recommend that you dont either.

The atmosphere and service were wonderful. I had the wild salmon which came with a sauce. I did not care for the sauce and I thought the salmon was slightly over cooked. I would go again as I should have spoke up and Im sure they would have fixed it.

Good fresh Italian food at moderate prices. A small quaint Italian Restourante on a Old Time Shop strip on Oak Park Ave. in Tinley Park which very easy to get to from multiple directions, and lots of parking.

Worst $77.76 (before tip) I have ever spent for 2 people for dinner. The food was awful. The service was poor as well but they appeared understaffed. This is a definite never go back to place.

It has been a week since our visit, but still upset that I was charged $14.95 for a small bowl of "penne pasta with butter" for my 9 year old grand daughter. Do not understand this charge???

The food is good but there is a policy against separate checks which made things awkward for my group...and there was only one other table on an early weekday evening!

Cute little restaurant with very mediocre food. Presentation was poor and flavors uninspired. There are better Italian restaurants for the price. Will not return.

Food is fresh, tastes homecooked, and is great for lunch or dinner. Can be a bit on the pricey side, but is definitely worth it. Perfect Italiano food!
