Whenever I go out for breakfast, whether it be at 8am, or 2pm, this place is my go-to. Upon entering, it does not look much different than your typical breakfast diner, but it is clean and well-maintained. The menu offers so many choices and variations of classic breakfast dishes that, if youre as indecisive as me, you will be looking at it for at least 10 minutes before youve whittled it down to three options that you cant choose from. Additionally, they offer really fun and unique dishes if you want to try something new, as well as a gluten-free menu. Food aside, they have a variety of fresh-squeezed juices. I should also mention that everything comes in large portions, and it is reasonably priced. Although I have been here a countless amount of times, I have yet to venture into their lunch menu. But if breakfast is any indication, it should be great. Staff has always been accommodating and friendly, as well as prompt. The owner or manager is always out front, with a smile, and is usually the one to process your bill and confirm that the experience was satisfying. If youre in Tinley Park before 3p, and your stomach is empty, stop in here.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I have never in all my years had such a bad and humiliating experience in a restaurant before. The place was busy, we had a group of 7 people and waited the 40 plus minutes to be seated. When our buzzer went off, my 3 daughters and I proceeded to go to the table when the manager stopped and said would not seat us until our entire party was present. Informing him that they were outside in the air-conditioned car, he still refused! He yelled at my daughter to get off the table where he had directed us, as my sons and husband came through the door. Even then, seeing that the party was there, he was continuously rude! I refused to spend my hard earned money in such a business. Even when I called to talk to the owner to share my experience, the employees gave me a run around about the managers name , their names, and even who the owner was to discuss anything with him. Very unprofessionally run! Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else to eat- no food is worth this type of treatment!!!

Food was pretty good, the presentation was impressive, and the staff was friendly. It was kind of crowded, though, and the coffee was... bad. Not just not great, it was overly bitter and kind of burnt-tasting. I usually drink drip coffee black or with just a little cream. I needed a lot of cream /and/ sugar to make it drinkable. And it was like 3 dollars. What Im saying is go, but maybe dont buy the coffee. Its probably worth mentioning I didnt try the like, flavored, latte-ish drinks, just drip coffee. So maybe those are better. Still very pleasant overall.

Ive always known about this place and have been coming here for years. Same location as the former Wheatfield Restaurant which was closed. This spot was one of the hidden gems in Tinley Park years ago. Although quite spacious, it still has a cozy feel. Business has really picked up and Im happy for them. The prices are right and the food portions are quite sizeable, so bring a healthy appetite. They have an awesome juice bar and although the coffee can be hit or miss, the food more than makes up for it. Bring the family and friends. You wont be disappointed.

There are so many options to choose from. Portions are big so come here hungry. I ordered an egg, hash browns and nutty nutella crepes. Everything was so good! The crepes were a whole lot better than the ones I had at IHOP. Not only do they come with nuts but they also fill the crepes with nuts, bananas, and nutella. At IHOP they just put everything on top. The waitress was really nice. I recommend this place to anyone who loves great food!

HORRIBLE!!! They tried to lie and pass off egg substitutes when I ordered an egg white omelet and it came out yellow. I explained I get violently ill eating the yolk and the manager/owner continued to argue with me telling me to eat it not caring if I got Ill. DO NOT GO HERE!! Not only did he argue with my family & I but also charged us for food we didnt receive. Dont go here looking for fresh real food its not here!

I went there today by myself to try the place. I was told a 20 minute wait. I was fine with that. A half hour later I went to check on how much longer it will be. Someone crossed my name off the list. The man looked around to see if anything was available. At that point I just told him I am going somewhere else. I will not go there again. No stars should have been given to this restaurant.

Were regulars here for at least 10 years. Portions are large, and we always leave with leftovers. We come here for the more specialized dishes that you cant get at other places. For example, we get crab cake Benedict and eggs Benedict from here. My youngest gets chocolate chip pancakes. Its pricy here but worth it due to its fancier dishes. Btw, their vanilla chai latte is heaven on Earth!

Not the fastest (dont be in a hurry), and not crazy delicious or special beyond their showcased foods (lots of pancake options that are quite good). That being said, that are very friendly and they accommodate gluten free very well. Weve been there twice and we trust them to keep us safe. 4 stars for the gluten free peace of mind.

The wait for this place is ridiculous and its for good reason - they have a very extensive menu with lots and lots of options. The food was abundant and absolutely delicious. I had a Santa Fe Eggs Benedict which was cooked correctly. Their chipotle hollondaise sauce could use some work, but otherwise everything was perfect.

The service is great! The Bananas Foster with a scoop of vanilla ice cream is THE BEST!!!!! The cheesy grits is very good too. The Eggheadz juice - spinach, pineapple and banana was not so good. If you try it ask for ice to be added, itll be a lot better! We added ice after we tasted it, and it was better that way.

I am totally impressed with the food selections, the consistency, and the service. Friends introduced me to this dining gem, I have gone back since, and have enjoyed each visit. My new fave, their signature , spinach, banana, and pineapple fresh juice-to live for. I look forward to going there time and again.

I go to Eggheadz all the time! They have the best soups- I love the stuffed pepper. The service is very attentive and Ive never had a bad meal! They are a bit more "upscale" than your local diner in that the restaurant is very well maintained and you arent overwhelmed with only greasy breakfast foods.

Good food, fast service, and a friendly staff. Usually no wait on weekday mornings. Weekends are a different story. Be prepared for 20 minute wait times. Gypsy skillet is really good. Always clean. Other reviews said "coffee is hit or miss" and I agree. Otherwise, a great place to eat.

I really enjoy the wide varieties of food here amd its always busy...but not "wait for 2 hours" busy. The wait staff is always on point refilling the coffee and their suggestion of the Navajo skillet was spot on. The owners have done a great job establishing this place in DT Tinley...
