Well, going to Perkins is something I like and Perkins is my favorite restaurant. The first time I been here, (on my birthday) it seems as if the waitress can read my mind. My son needed another glass of water, and she gave my son another glass of water, with out me telling the waitress. (I forgot the other thing she did, but also smart thinking.) After my daughters told the waitress Its my birthday, the waitress give us all cookies. They also serve cakes. The very very very last time I went, they had a bit of mistakes. Mistake 1.................. THEY WAS TAKING SO LONG WITH THE FOOD!!! Mistake 2: THEY WAS TAKING SO LONG WITH THE FOOD THAT THE FOOD I ORDER WAS CUT OFF! SO ID HAD TO TELL THE WAITRESS AGAIN WHAT I ORDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mistake 3: I ORDERED PANCAKES, EGGS AND BACON FOR MY LITTLEST DAUGHTER. THE WAITRESS FORGOT THE EGGS. ONE REASON THAT WAS GOOD IS BECAUSE KIDS DID NOT LIKE THE EGGS. BUT THE WAITRESS FELT LIKE THE SCREWED IT UP VERY VERY VERY VERY BAD. (Well they didnt screwed it up that bad) But............................................................................................................................................................................................................................. ARE MEAL WAS FREE, AND THEY GAVE US COOKIES TO MAKE IT UP FOR US, WHICH FIXES EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IM 100.00% SURE I WILL BE COMING BACK, THANKS FOR THE GOOD SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband and I went there for breakfast on Labor Day. Big mistake! The place was crowded to the hilt with many people waiting. Then we found out why. Upon further observation, there were at least 6 tables that were empty but not cleaned. The hostess was busy taking names and then trying to bus tables. I inquired as to why and she said there were no bus people on duty. I saw a couple of waitresses wiping tables haphazerdly. At the time I was talking to the hostess the manager came up and I mentioned the lack of bus people and he got smart alecky with me and told me that hes been working hard since he got there. I told him that I didnt believe him and that you dont keep hungry people waiting and waiting because you are understaffed and cant clean tables. What restaurant doesnt have bus people? When we finally got a table we wiped it down again with some wet wipes and when through the wipes were black! We will never go to Perkins again. The waitress was friendly and the food was passable but the cleanliness and lack of customer seating in a timely manner is apalling. Too many other places to spend our money.

I will start by saying that Im not one to eat at chain restaurants but I was meeting a friend in Kenosha Wisconsin and Perkins was suggested so I agreed. I cannot say one bad thing about this dining experience. Our server was Sandy and just very delightful and took very good care of us. My choice for lunch was a Reuben with my side a salad and coffee. I asked Sandy if I could just have iceberg lettuce which she said was not a problem. The salad was fresh and crisp. It was excellent. The Reuben was hardy and again excellent. Ive had a lot of Reubens and this one rated high on my list. Even the coffee was good and what was nice, Sandy brought a container of coffee to the table so, my cup was always full and thats a good thing because Im a big coffee drinker. Sandy did check back often with us to make sure we were doing okay. The restaurant was very clean. I would suggest, even if you are like me and dont like chain restaurants, that you try this Perkins in Kenosha. Oh, did I say that I like the music in the restaurant also? I did.

It was late and we were all exhausted after spending time visiting a loved one in the hospital so we needed to find something open. The hostess was very personable and immediately took us to an open booth like we asked. First impression of our waitress was that she was not very enthused about her job. She took our orders and then 35 minutes later the food arrived but one order was wrong. She took it back and brought us the right dinner. The sprite tasted kind of funny though. The food tasted pretty good but the restaurant was very dirty - the blinds on the window next to us looked like they had never been washed...

Stopped in here while traveling for a quick bite. I got the Grilled Chicken with Mushrooms & Asparagus as I was looking for something fairly healthy. The service was nice, friendly and quick and the food was actually really quite good. Very flavorful, but not terribly filling, which youd expect from something on the "Fit Favorite" menu. Held me over for the rest of the 2-1/2 hour drive though.

From Chicago, was getting ready to get off on the exit to go home after visiting family. Kids wanted to eat, so we stopped in. So happy we did. They let you pick a muffin instead of toast, and the muffins area amazing. All the food was good, service decent, and we took this amazing strawberry pie home. Definitely worth the stop.

Most of the time the food is great. Usually its the service thats lacking. We often get a waitress who usually ignores us most of the meal and then theres some really loud waiter that practically yells when he talks to anyone. Hes pretty attentive with his tables but he would annoy me if we got him-just way too loud.

The manager that works Fridays and is usually a waitress during the week was so kind and friendly what a great young lady and so professional I live in Illinois and I go to this Perkins because of how clean and friendly they are and will continue to go there and the food is top notch love this place

We met out daughters there for a Birthday, waited about 15 minutes to get some coffee. Ordered an appetizers and they came out with our food order. Very disappointing. Told the Mgr. About it, and he never offered a discount on our 67.dollar bill. He was told about our dissatisfaction.

Service was horrible. Our waiter seemed hungover and the manager was no help. Waited for an hour for our food and when it did arrive a lot of the orders were wrong. Had to wait longer after food came for silverware and condiments. Needs to be power washed on the inside. Sad day.

Good food. Not many there at later time slot. Would of rated 5 stars but had a couple come in and talked loudly, rude, obnoxious, that broke my peace eating and breaking my conversation with wife. Management did nothing to quiet them down.

Darrin, our waiter was awesome. He was welcoming, funny and attentive to our needs. The food he recommended was amazing. I am not from Wisconsin, however next time im in the area, i will be sure to stop at this Perkins.

It was horrible, the waiter "caught" my fryed shrimp by the tail and still served it to me, it made me disgusted. horrible service and just bad experiance. definitely never coming back.
