I asked simply for a change of the pancakes that come with the meal for just one waffle instead. I even offered to pay the difference (though pancakes are more than waffles on the menu). The owner would not allow it. I wont go back. Theres literally breakfast cafes down the street in either direction that are just as good or better.

This place gives you the feeling of walking into one of those breakfast delis long time ago and the warm greeting that meets you makes you smile and gives you the satisfaction of having pancakes in mamas kitchen on a Sunday morning. I love this place

Great family run business with friendly service, and tasty homemade food! Whether its breakfast or lunch, food is very good. My fave is their Reuben or tuna melt, never greasy, just delish! Quick service so theres not usually a wait for tables.

Nice hole in the wall breakfast place. Never too busy, the price is right, and its quick. Cant ask for more! One issue I had was with service wherein the waitress completely forgot my wife and I were there. We had to approach her for the bill.

Bloomingdale Cafe is a very likable diner. It might not be the newest or biggest but it offers delicious food at a great price. Stop by for brunch and try their skirt steak.
