Sweet Potato Cafe bought Warrenville Pancake House almost a year ago. It has gone through many changes and have had some pretty tough reviews but, Its finally coming into its own and people are adjusting to the change. There are some great Homemade dishes that have been added and Dinners are unique and all comfort food which is what SPC is going for. Everyday there is a new dish on the special board that is not on the regular menu. Everything is made fresh, the soups are all homemade and there are now healthy choices on the menu. Great changes and more to come.

I have gone twice, and havent found anything that we have ordered really WOW good. Prices are not worth what you get. I ordered an omelet with feta cheese and tomatoes, and it tasted like canned tomatoes, and the plate was full of water. We have tried pancakes, waffles, and nothing has been extremely hot or good. I miss John, he really put out great food. I saw him one day when I was there, and he had a confused look on his face. I think he even knew something wasnt right. Oh well, back to the Verdict we go.

First of all, I love sweet potatoes, and they come in so many different forms. But the menu goes far beyond that! It is diverse, creative, and always excellent food no matter what or when I eat there. Im usually there for breakfast or lunch, but I have been to their fish fry also, and it is terrific! It has become my go-to place to meet friends and they all seem to share my enthusiasm. The staff is very friendly and efficient. I would give them 10 Stars if I could.

This is a quaint little spot. The selection of food is great and they have very unique items such as sweet potato hash in the holidays sandwich which is turkey stuffing and cranberry with a really great dill sauce. I would get 5 stars however at least twice when Ive been there at the host is a little behind and seems to not acknowledge the guests as they come in. As with most places it may just be the day or the person overall its a great place

LOVE this place. They cater to people with dietary restrictions like gluten free and vegetarian. But, they also have regular food. Everything I ever ordered was delicious and home made tasting. Beyond that the owners are very nice and their waitresses are also sweet and courteous. We travel from Downers Grove to eat there because its real food not the junk a lot of other restaurants are heating up from frozen entrees and calling it dinner.

I went here for brunch this morning with my mother. It was good! We both ordered the special with two eggs with bacon and pancakes. The main part of the meal was "OK" but then came the pancakes. Whatever butter and syrup they use is SO GOOD. Im usually not a pancake lover but it was recommended I try them so I did and I do not regret it one bit. Our total tab was under 20 dollars for two people.

First time here. We drive up from Southeast Naperville. There just arent that many good "Greek Style" restaurants offering such a huge variety of menu options anymore. I ordered blueberry French toast made from homemade blueberry bread and it was amazing! They have All You Can Eat Fish Fry on Fridays and BBQ ribs on Saturdays¡ We will definitely be back!

We could tell the quality of ingredients in every tasty bite! Many fresh new recipes and old favorites made better than ever! The home made soups are the best around and the spinach salad with bacon dressing, is my new lunch favorite. The slightly higher prices are well worth the much improved menu!

Crepes and omletes were delicious. Pumpkin pancakes with cream cheese frosting was worth a visit all by itself. Good prices, fast service. I also appreciated that they left an extra container of water at the table.
