I have been here several times, the food is first rate as is the friendly and prompt service. The bussel sprout and kale salad was one of my favorites, along with the salmon robata and traditional sushi. The staff knows the menu well and they were incredibly accommodating with food allergies, making sure the kitchen was aware. We had an unfortunate experience by parking behind the restaurant tonight (where we have always parked in the past without an issue). The neighboring store the wandering dragon actually owns the parking spaces behind Mora, Capri and the wine and cheese shop, and within the last few days they posted a sign (not very noticeable unless you are really looking for it), and have been aggressively towing cars. The manager of Mora was incredibly kind and helpful. I am hoping the neighborhood restaurants will help warn their patrons about this issue. We will continue to come here often and support our new favorite local restaurant. Hands down the best food and service in the Plainfield area.

Every plate that hit the table was good. Some of the items that were set down were excellent. The pork belly was an absolute triumph, and it wasnt even on the menu. They used it in a salad, and we ordered two plates of it with complete disregard for what the cost might have been. I know that reviews of suburban restaurants will often be met with skepticism, since restaurants in the city will usually offer much better cuisine. Our party routinely eats in the city. We travel to other states and countries in search of food, and I can confidently say that this was one of the best meals I have had in any location. I can only hope that the quality of the food and service remains as impressive as what we experienced during our visit. We will definitely return.

The quality of the fish was top notch, adobo pork belly was a highlight, and poke tower was very good. Only issue, (and reason for 4 instead of 5 star review), was that the two rolls we ordered, (Samurai and Mora Spicy Hamachi), had far too much mayo on them to the point where you could not taste anything else. Would definitely eat there again but would make sure that any roll that comes topped with a mayo sauce was made with "easy mayo".

This was my first time here. The food was amazing and I cannot believe how accommodating of my allergy the staff was. I have an onion allergy which is so annoying, but the fact that they were able to either remove the onions completely or revise the dish was very helpful and made me feel less anxious about the allergy. I would definitely suggest this place to family and friends! Great food and exceptional service!

Ive been here a handful of times since it opened, and have never had a bad plate, drink, or server! They are always very prompt and polite, and the food is phenomenal. I LOVE sushi, and have tried several of their rolls and not been disappointed. The atmosphere within the restaurant is unique in the area, and draws a fun crowd. Its definitely one of my favorite places to eat in Plainfield.

I loved this place so much the first night I was in that we decided to visit again the very next night! Food is awesome! Lots of different rolls to chose from and the drink menu has plenty of options. Decor is fresh and modern and the servers are friendly and energetic. Ill definitely be back, Ive been craving sushi all week!

Workers are not informed about menu and hung up when we called about an order we picked up and it was wrong. Staff seemed as though they never learned customer service for such a nice looking place it was extremely disappointing... Will not be going there again. Food was okay, but expensive for portion sizes as well.

Good service... but small portions and really expensive. Food taste good.. but the NY steak took 1hour!!! and when I finally got it was cold. We ordered plain noodles for my 2 year old and they charged like a full meal and they were salty.. not happy with the experience. Expected a lot more. ..

The food was pretty good just expensive for really small portions. The service was terrible. We sat inside and it was like sittng on top of the people next to you. We could touch elbows and share sushi too close. I wont be returning.

Fantastic food, great service from the entire staff. Very cool environment. Best Sushi in Will County. Cant wait to go back on a weekend when it warms up. Would have given this place six stars but that wasnt an option.

Great Asian inspired food, but very accessible to those wary of Asian cuisine. Excellent loose leaf tea by the pot. Quick and friendly service, cozy atmosphere with lots of character. A bit pricey, but I think worth it.

The food is great - a decent take on Asian food, the broccoli and kale salad is superb. The bar is a great find - there are many craft cocktails to choose from - like those at fancy bars in the city.

The atmosphere was ok, but the food fell short. Tried a couple appetizer dishes that were ok. The sushi rolls just missed the balance of flavors needed for good sushi. Service was fine.

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I was charged 3 times at this place that left my account very very low. Nothing was done to rectify the error!! I do not recommend Mora at all. Watch your back here!
