ordered my food to go and was surprised by what I got: the fried calamari had the texture and taste of something that was reheated in a microwave, the soft shell crab seemed the same as the calamari as well as overcooked and soggy, and the crab ragoon looked like it was missing the crab and had a ton of white sauce which made it nothing but a white sauce hot pocket. the real disappointment came from the sushi rolls: who the hell uses pringles chips and flat noodles covered in what could only be half way described as ketchup as a decorative motif for a sushi roll? thats right, pringles chips...WTF! the sushi was like something from the refrigerator section of a crappy supermarket. one of the rolls had sour cream on it, which is not a good combination when it comes to sushi. the quality of the food was very low (but the prices sure as hell werent), I will not be eating from here again

First time here ordered vegetable lo mein and veggie spring rolls to go. The lady at the front desk was really friendly. The food came out quick. But Im a little disappointed with the lo mein. I know it was a vegetable lo mein but I only got mushrooms and broccoli, like does it not come with more than two vegetables? It was also a little dry but it was fresh. The taste was not much special. I guess Ill stick to the place on campcreek. I probably wont be back.Update: I called to ask about the vegetable lo mein and only mushrooms was suppose to come in it. Really? Just mushrooms and noodles. She told me its extra to add mix vegetables in the lo mein which is crazy. So a paid $8.45 for lo mein with just mushrooms in it. I definitely wont be back.

The food was good, but our waiter customer service was horrible. He judge me and my sister because we are young and came into their restaurant with our workout clothes on. I decided to not give him a tip, the waiter flagged me down outside and told me when someone brings you your food, and wipes off your table , you tip, as I explain to him , how I felt he didnt deserve a tip, he walks off, I went to talk to the manager, and the manager basically agreed with the waiter and said next time ask for a different waiter. As me and my sister was leaving, the manager asked if we worked at publix and target based on the colors of our shirts. Just was not a good experience for me.

I have visited Mulan over the years and must say the quality in food has diminished greatly. I ordered Shrimp in garlic sauce only to find a bug on my plate first. I returned the order and when it was returned to me (on another plate) I then realized that none of the Shrimp had been deveined - disgusting! When I tried to inform the head chef he decided to make excuses until I was able to actually show him shrimp with veins in it. I sent the order back once again because I absolutely could not eat it and decided to just order the Lo Mein. It was not the greatest either. I politely requested my ticket, paid my bill and probably will not return to Mulan at this point.

We were visiting family in the area and we decided to eat out before heading back to the hotel with an 11 y/o that LOVES Chinese food, a picky eating 9 y/o and a sleepy, very agitated 3 y/o. Looking up general restaurants I saw the reviews for Mulan and thought lets try this. Needless to say they exceeded our expectations! The portions were on point and the taste...wow! My 9 y/o ate double what he usually does. The atmosphere was very nice. The waitress was also sweet and patient even thought my baby had gotten over hyper in his sleepy rage and turned over his entire beverage. She still served with a smile. On my next trip to Atlanta from MS a visit here is a must.

When Mulan first opened their food was amazing! It was fresh, flavorful and stayed Hot until I got home. My family and I would ordered food from Mulan almost every other weekend! We recently started back ordering food from them and unfortunately we have been very disappointed on two occasions. We ordered my fav sushi rolls among some other dishes on my birthday earlier this month and it was poorly put together. The sushi was badly rolled and severely drenched in sauces. Today we ordered some wings and Mongolian chicken and sadly it was awful. As much as I hate to say this, but no longer will we eat here. And its a shame to because the staff is super nice!

I normally dont do Chinese food, but I gave this place a try when it first came into the neighborhood and Im so glad I did. No MSG in their food…I didnt even fall asleep or become lethargic shortly after consuming it! Great service and atmosphere. And my favorites include sesame seed chicken and beef & broccoli. During the week they have a jazz band (cant remember what day) thats pretty good! Check this place out :0)

The reviews are sooo right on about this place. Their pomegranate martini is awesome and their garlic shrimp roll thingie (sorry dont remember "technical" name) rocks. My husband and I celebrated my 30th birthday there, and I am so glad to have had the experience and pleasure of going there. I didnt want anything too fussy but I wanted it to me nice. It was perfect. Also, getting into the location is very easy.

We took a chance on this restaurant despite one of the reviews. It was excellent! We live in Savannah, Ga and were visiting Atlanta. There are no decent Asian restaurants in Savannah so we always try to find one when we are traveling. The service was top notch and the food was excellent. We enjoyed it so much we went back the next night! We plan to return when we are in Atlanta again(which will be next week).

I was taken here on a date. I do not often eat at resturants on the South side of town where I live but I must say this is the South sides best kept Chinese secret in terms of food. The waitress was not every good but the food made up for it. She forgot to bring out one of our orders she said she did not understand but fid not ask to verify but she fixed her mistale promptly. Will certainly go back.

I decided to dine in..... as Im drinking my martini enjoying my sushi a ROACH crawls out of my plate of fried rice..... I hurried up and smashed it with my napkin. I called the waiter he says 1 minute... I said NO NOW, a bug has crawled out of my food... he says let me fix it.... I said there is no fixing it... I grab my purse and left....... sad part is the martini was good and strong...

Continued Disappointment I have given this location several opportunities to get it right. I live in another area of Metro Atlanta and I can tell you the quality of food is far superior. Mulan Asian Cuisine on Fairburn Rd really needs to up their game on the quality of food they are selling to the community. For example each time there Ive been sold mushy rice...OMG worst ever!

I have been in Atlanta for 6 years now, moved here from the S.F. Bay Area, and the one thing that really bugs me is trying to find good Chinese Food, since I grew accustomed to having great Chinese Food from Chinatown in S.F. Although its far from being great Chinese food, Mu-lan is one of the best you can get "in the Atlanta area". Nice service and atmosphere.
